I'm pretty sure I have one Baz, it's cracked a bit but was working fine when I took it off.

Time to sell my Beautiful Corrado as i'm buying back my mk2 GTI. It's a very tidy Blackberry with black leather 83000 miles. I bought it in 2010 with 75000 miles on the clock. There are two previous owners, the first was a chap who used it as his company car for a few years then garaged it as a weekend car until a few years ago when his enthusiast neighbour bought it and sold it to me a few months later to fund paint on his mk1. Having so few owners it has a huge amount of receipts including the original bill of sale! 11 Main dealer services in book. 4 Volkswagen specialist. Serviced by myself since i've had it (I am a Volkswagen trained tech). It really is a lovely Corrado condition wise as my friends on here will testify, there are a few minor blemishes but these are very small and not corrosion related (the body is in excellent condition). Leather is very good condition, only signs of use are on drivers seat. Uses next to no oil whatsoever, has been on max for the couple thousand miles since I last changed it. In my 6000 miles I have carried out the following: 2 oil changes with synta platinum - this is fully synthetic (people are split between this and synta silver which is semi synth but TPS recommended this so I tried it and my engine was just as quiet so I used it again, plus it protects better at higher temps) and genuine filter. New genuine water pump New genuine crack pipe, thermostat housing, thermostat and all seals New blue and yellow temp sensors New rad fan switch and radiator New genuine auxilliary water pump New Beru coil pack New ecu and fuel pump relay New toad alarm with 2 remotes New complete lock set with 2 new keys New genuine auxiliary belt tensioner and contitech belt New fuel filter Powdercoated lower arms all new genuine bolts for front suspension (£50 worth of bolts!) New vibratechnics front engine mount New foglights and indicators with lamin-x protection Refurbed speedline alloys Daves16v quickshifter (total must have for any Corrado) New headlight switch Fuse fitted on headlamp switch earth So yeah it's not been short of attention recently! That's over a £1000 spent mostly on genuine parts. Not to mention the ££ worth of valeting products as I refuse to drive a dirty car. It really is a very good one so I can't accept any offers sorry. Any questions pm me or call me on Zero7824five52four73 Cheers Lewis

Right so I'm selling the Corrado again (I did take a deposit last time but the chap had to go back to Ireland to be with his ill father). The only things I can add to my ad if you will is that I forgot to mention that it uses no oil what so ever (it's been on the max for a few thousand miles now!) and the NSF Weitech coilover is leaking slightly but I have the original suspension and am looking into getting a new coilover under warranty. Also I am going to national day if anyone wants to view there. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=82148 Anyway here is my mk2 (the reason I am selling the Corrado)

No problems with these. Best mod I have, it feels factory just shorter throw. How it should have been.

I'll take these please. Looks like i'm going to GTI international now ;) Unless you are going to national day phil? -
Hi Phil, I can post bolts tomorrow. I can't meet you this week though sorry.
-
Hi Phil, Jim Bowen pm'd me last week about the tappets and headgasket kit and he confirmed this morning that he wants them sorry. The 24v sump uses silicone sealant instead of a gasket. Do you want the headbolts?
-
Silicone sump sealant is fine to use.

Haha very good Andy! You know I harbour a DEEP hatred for reps. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

I'm interested if you have the original receipt? -
Great pics Vaughn! Glad you're happy with the wheels Phil, they will look awesome! Great time had by all I think, big thanks to Jake and Ian for sorting the delicious BBQ. Dodgems and doughnuts is the benchmark by which all shows should be judged. Hope they get some pics of our cars on the website this time though! Afraid my pics have none of Vaughn's artistic flair!
-
Cheers Jake look forward to them! Remember to dose up on hayfever meds!
-
No probs Phil see you tomorrow. I have a bit of bubble wrap that should help.
-
I can bring them tomorrow Phil, i'm coming on my own so won't have much to bring. The tyres are Toyo Proxes4
-
I've found the receipt. Just have to take some pics. They are mint, weights all on inside and ready to bolt on no adapters required. I will have the pics uploaded by 7pm Phil.

Jesus this is getting silly! The vandal scum seem to be multiplying rapidly. I hope its not too deep and it cuts back.

Cheers Beastie for the info. They are rare and a scabby set is a false economy. Plus these have the best powdercoat I have ever seen and pretty much brand new toyo's and brand new bbs centre caps. In total inc tyres, refurb and caps they owe me £820. So yeah lock them babys up :)
