  1. Phil, i'm on it! They've been in my garage since november. Not sure on the et i'll check to see if it's stamped on the inside. I have the receipt i'll post some more pics later. Lew
  2. I messaged him a few weeks ago he was having some paint done though which took priority. I really need them gone before I put them back on! Yep price is £600.
  3. I have a pair of yellow fogs? No looms though but your looms should be ok.
  4. I just cut mine out with a disc cutter.
  5. I will also contribute to the bun consumption fund.
  6. Did you bridge the rad fan switch connector to establish whether speed 2 works? If it does replace the switch. Tbh it doesn't hurt to change them all inc the blue and yellow as they get pretty crusty and unreliable with age.
  7. Took my wheels off today and noticed that my osf hicon gt coilover is leaking. I've only done about 2-3k on them and they're not wound that far down. I have the guarrantee card but stupidly have not sent it off :bonk: Does anyone know if I will now not be covered? Also does anyone know of vr6 -60mm springs as these weitecs are too hard for my liking (if not I may get some kw v1's).
  8. 45nm is the correct torque. Can only assume someone has overtightened them at some point and weakend the threads.
  9. Can anyone tell me why there are only -30mm springs for a vr with a normal strut setup. There seems to be -60mm available for 16v and g60 but not vr6.
  10. Don't worry Jake i'm parking the Golf up there for sure!
  11. Elring vr6 head bolt set brand new £30 posted Alloy 24v sump brand new (fits any vr6) £65 posted Please allow up to a week for postage as I have to rely on my partner to post as I don't work near a post office Payment by bank transfer please Lewis
  12. This happened to mine, the blue foam comes out of the damper and gets stuck in the pipes causing a pressure build up I guess. Remove the isv and pipes, clean it all out, replace the damper and it will be fine.
  13. Sounds like it could be a collapsed wheel bearing.
  14. I already live on beans on toast, might have to lose the toast
  15. It's a 1990 8v 3dr in silver, totally standard aside from 16v rear lights. I'll get some pics up when i've got it.
  16. Cheers Bill, that's the reason it's only for sale on here, I want to know it's gone to a caring home and if one of us doesn't buy it then I may keep it. I'm buying the mk2 on sat anyway and ideally don't want two weekend cars!
  17. I'll still be about with the mk2, there's no forum quite like this one! That's if it sells, i'm happy either way :)
  18. When I submit my corrado for sale ad it loses connection to the site? Tried it with IE and Chrome. Any ideas?
  19. Me too, I can pay upfront if required. Where can I get the rubber bits though?
  20. It's not advisable, they run hot enough with coolant.
