Oil cooler, pressure and temp senders on top of filter housing?
-
Did you check the fuel pump and ecu relays?

It totally sucks! The paint's not perfect by any stretch but I could do without extra chips!

Just got blasted by a gritter on Cole avenue Gloucester going the opposite way, saw it and sort of veered as far away as I could but that thing was firing it out like it's going out of fashion! Anyhow I now have loads of tiny chips on my OS wing and door! I know they're a necessary evil but i'm furious! Anybody else had this?

No need for air freshener then :) peanut butter smells lovely. You should put a warning label in the car though incase a passenger has a severe nut allergy!

What oil to use for a VR6 & was there a haynes manual produced for the corrado's?
lewvw replied to 333's topic in Engine Bay
There's a section dedicated to oil in the tech area. Most people use synta silver which is 10 40 semi. There's no haynes for a corrado but there is an american manual called a bentley which is comprehensive but expensive (about £80ish). -
Are they coming from Gloucester by any chance?

I had a similar thing when I set mine up, Kev said it was because the engine side is slightly heavier.

Nice polo, I used to have a 16v 100bhp AFH engine like your's they really are great fun. Used to keep up with my 8v mk2 no problem :)

Looking awesome rams :) my thermostat housing was cracked there and it was original, I think it's just age related stress on a weak spot. Looking forward to seeing how this performs!
-
Yeah we've got that covered XD
-
Are they integrale wheels?
-
I'm in if we can get 6+

I think people use ARP for big power forced induction setups, if you are going for a standard setup then use standard bolts.
-
Looking great now Johnny!

Was the friction plate the right way round? They sometimes have flywheel side or gearbox side printed on them.
-
James if the cowlings in good nick and it's 25 quid posted i'll take it. Cheers.

TT's are for everyone. Including me if or when I buy one And yeah what Tempest said about parts being available....is it just me or does that just sound amazing after all the bother with trying to get most things for the Corrado!
-
A 911? That's really quite a few steps up the performance car ladder. What about a TT? A 911 would bankrupt most people eventually. Now I always thought a TT V6 would make a nice replacement albeit with a little less character.

Which colours though? Would only be interested in black.

I doubt he paid the release fee hence the calling the guy a dreamer!

Mine took about 2-3 weeks to turn up. I messaged them with no reply. I'm sure they will turn up. In fact thinking back it may have been even longer. They did take bloody ages!
