More dirty, scummy, thieving BAS***DS
vr6corrado replied to Danger Mouse's topic in General Car Chat
Really sorry to hear that, let us know how you get on. -
Did anyone see the 'Ten Best Second Hand Cars' feature in yesterday's Independent? Just a paragraph on each car. It went along the lines of Top Gear's recent article - not quite a classic yet etc and amongst what some people would describe as more illustrious cars was singled out as the only car in the list 'that should soon begin to appreciate'. (By the way the C in the pic had the registration A2 GON - I'm sure I have seen that on here - a forum member?)
-
Hypothetically speaking though, would they refuse a payout on the grounds of not declaring it? I think - until I am corrected - that it can be much more than an additional £30 or so?
-
By the way, do we have declare this as a mod to our insurer's? Any idea how much extra it will add to the premium?
-
Well I rang them and you're right they're blaming the weather, give James at Deutsch Performance a ring if you haven't received them by 1pm tomorrow. He also said I could pick them up at my local depot of the courier firm but I didn't fancy taking my C out in the snow! Not sure which courier firm it is, maybe someone who has received their lights could tell us?
-
:? I think he wants alternatives to GSF!!
-
Still awaiting mine :( Rang them and they said mine went out yesterday.
-
Thanks for that Simon, paid for them earlier today, they were looking forward to Dave's call!
-
Well they rang me today so I have a new one on now. It's the 2nd part number you have quoted. It was about £7-odd. Cheers guys.
-
Cheers will call them tomorrow :)

This is probably my favourite http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=100 Its jimbo-corrado's Corrado! -
Now you're asking them to take that too Henny. Hope they don't! Yep Kev, anyway if it's not at the dealers, its £5.50 + VAT + p&p at GPC.
-
Lol the simplest way is the best I guess, Thanks :)
-
Hmmm might catch the eye of a collector!!!
-
Thanks Kev, I thought you could only get them off if the bonnet was open but obviously not. Is there any way of securing them a bit better?
-
Some scumbag has pinched my VR6 grille badge (or it has fallen off(?!)) so I went to the stealers who told me it was a limited edition badge on the C - i.e the golf VR6 grille badge won't fit. Is this correct? Anyway he's going to let me know tomorrow if he can get hold of one, in the meantime can anyone point me in the right direction in case he can't get one in for me? Or is it time for an ad in the wanted forum? Thanks in advance.

My Clifford is continuously false alarming and I have had enough. It's going in for a Toad Ai606 on Friday for well under £300 - VSIB approved place.
-
Can't argue with that Kev :)
-
matt buzz it was all in jest mate - agree with Kev the rear view isn't all that - you just have to get used to it.
-
No mate these pump out some serious bhp.
-
As in now available in the RX8
-
So you telling me next time I come across an R32, i'll be able to kick its a$re (a little bit)!!! Bring it on. That'll wipe the smile of the face of the smug rich git driving it. Yeehaa Timo (now hunting for an R32 to beat. Only ever seen one on the road, damn!!....) Yes mate, to be honest I was further ahead than that but thought people might disbelieve hence the toning down! So i have edited it to 'well ahead' now. :norty:

Nothing to be proud of! ;) Only joking as Dave says its better to err on the side of caution provided you don't look stupid of course.
-
Sounds simple enough, but its worth checking the key hasn't been bent.
-
I think it looks somewhat similar to the Chrysler coupe that was on Top Gear recently.
