760bhp Corrado (that's 760BHP....at the wheels!)

no it wasn't, it was a test to find out whether you lot are more interested in some poxy shiney bollocks than potentially the quickest corrado in the world. I now have my answer, thanks for that... -

does anybody actually stop and read this thread or do people just post up what they've done and leave?

IIRC put the pump in the tank with the float for the sender pointing directly to the back of the car, then turn it so the float is pointing to your right knee (presuming you're stood at the back of the car and leaning in) it should then go over the bayonet, then needing about an 8th of a turn clockwise to lock it in. if that doesn't work, just look at the pump, one of the slots is bigger than the other 3 and that coincides with a bigger tab on the bayonet.

madness. have you guys never heard of a racing line?!! I think i'd be put off going on track days for life if everyone was throwing their car's around like that. i've seen plenty of drifting vids, but they're usually all RWD cars. what's the point in putting a FWD car sideways? impressive car control none the less.

pushed it back into the garage....after spending the past 2 weekends replacing my knackered garage roof. rebuild time begins

errr, isn't the scroll made of magnesium? in which case, be VERY careful when welding it! I have a spare scroll that need some work of you're brave enough. I set fire to a tiny peice of apex that had snapped off......when it lit it burned so bright I couldn't even look at it, and it scorched the concete floor int he garage!

the beauty of LC pistons is that they are generally forged too, and thus bloody strong.

I think I'll fit some VWRacing boonet pins. I hate that b4stard mechanism.
-
I fully intend to. I don't do things by halves....

awesome work OSV!! how much did it cost you in the end for the new rims, bolts etc. looking to do up my other 17"s shortly and want an idea of what to budget for.

there's always one....... it's for weight saving you plank, not for looks. have you felt the weight of a corrado bonnet? it's just silly.
-
you need heated seats with leather, and air con. the temperature thing IS an issue. they're either freezing, or your sweating your betty's off.
-
I was going to ask my US contact.

I've been looking at the Fiber Images ones from the states. all the thread I've read on vortex say they are the best, it's just the shipping issue.... just need a good price for my freshly painted late vr style bonnet and I can order one.

Recaro's all the way, nothing else will do. Had TT Recaro's in my mk2 Got Recaro's in my Corrado, soon to be changed to recaro bucket seats. and black leather Recaros in my mk4.
-
nice to see this project gaining momentum again.
-
being totally biased here, but I reckon it has to be my full beige electric, heated, recaro leather trim , as seen on the classifieds!
-
LMAO! I nearly wet myself when I first saw that about 4 years ago, it's still funny today, classic.
-
I mean a real one, not some half hearted thing made out of exhaust tubing that bolts to the seatbelt mounts... tried the search, didn't bring much up. post your corrado roll cage pics please.

it's actually a DSHOC (double, single overhead cam), with a common head. Not a true "twin cam", you need to go for a 24v tp get that. (still got one for sale BTW!)
