I've already had a word with Elliot about a 24v group thrash....me, you, coxy, my mate gareth with the vento, and any other transplanted 24v's we can find, I know of 2 mk3's too -
Let me see R32 engine VR6 Syncro 4wd (not rallye) Adjustable exhaust (with switchable silencer bypass) Genuine R32 meshed front bumper (for 19 row mocal oil cooler) Porsceh 993RS lightweight BBS steering wheel. and shortly full R32 sat nav and climatronic. oh, and the wheels too, NO-ONE else will have a set of these on a corrado....no-one.

Totalled R32, hit a big oak tree and lost.....
PhatVR6 replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
I've already stripped it for everything........not much wasn't broken.... -
the rad support itslef is a mk2 golf item, but the corrad one has a few more bits welded to it. which bit rots? mine is fine.

A lesson for all you road captains out there who drive like a t**t all the time.......this could be your car..... In this case, the driver was lucky enough to survive, let alone walk again (check out the pedal box, it's nearly touching the seat). Hit a tree at well over 100mph. Don't let it happen to you. It's slowed me down I can tall you that for certain.

I still adore this one.

Still having problems with Clifford Concept 650
PhatVR6 replied to Stroller's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Well, it's the same old story, it's the fitters to blame, they are a set of cunts, I've never seen a decent alarm install in all my life, every one has been a total mess. I had to rewire my concept 50x after 3 bodged attempts by offical clifford installers. I fitted my Avangaurd G5 myself, it took me 2 days, and I still haven't fitted the remote start yet. And yet, I STILL have bother with it. I've had to unplug the tilt sensro as it just goes off all the time for no reason with it plugged in, What's up with yours exactly? I have the manual for installing the G5 alarms so it may be of some help to you -
now then gucci wanna buy mine?

Used to love that car....until it was painted brown. love the loverall ook, and the spec, but the colour choise and the actual paint job is actually a bit crap up close. Interior is quality, and the reason why I've done mine the same, Been around for years, always been THE legendary corrado. I was actually sad enough to be seen worshipping it, waynes world style (we're not worthyc et) at castrop about 3 years back.....sad, yes, but I was pissed up....(wasn't even a corrado owner at the time either). The 500bhp+ power plot on the window did it for me. I'd love to see if it'll really do 200mph, now that would be a sight to behold.

ABS Light.. I know I know there's lots a these posts
PhatVR6 replied to DougJ182's topic in Drivetrain
you really need to find someone with VAGCOM to do a diagnostics check and see what's causeing the lights to come on. loads of people on here have it, what area are you from? -
yeah, got it sorted, I cut down the r32 bolts. they were too long, but had proper hex heads so I could tighten them up better. still got a slight noise coming from somewhere, but the 4wd is working a treat now (as proved at harewood house last weekend ;-) )

so true. I'd like to say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"..........but they are corrado's, so they are always broken and need fixing!
-
those fecking seat runners!!! why oh why disn't they revise those from the mk2 golf....they are a tw4t to get in first time without getting grease all over the carpet or scratching the sills.
-
bushes are no good either. Vr6 subframes are different so the mk2 bushes won't locate properly. the front busj will, rear one won't. buy some powerflex ones.

PM yellowslc on this very forum, or even better email him. He's my US contact. Good prices, no customs charges and great service.

What you on about, I don't even like my OWN car...... and I think if you browse the forums you'll find it's not me who only comes on here to talk about his own car and nothing else...........
-
I know people criticise, and yes, it does piss me off, but I won't listen to criticism off people who can'd do any better themselves with their own hands........hence the signs on my car at the weekend. How is it harsh? and what's so "amazing" about a paint job and a retrim? Best in show my arse........
-
can I justify my body mods? bumper modified for air flow arches pulled to allow fitment of wider wheels but keeping them inside the arches. washer jets removed because I kept getting polish stuck around them. function over form
-
A closer look says otherwise....... Fully chromed gearbox Billet alloy air filter bracket Award winning retrim It's in the details...oh the details Engineering excellence You think the owner would have loads of time to sort all this little things out whilst other people are building his car for him........... Flame suit on!
-
I don't think I've seen one really smart, but very heavily styled corrado. Keep the mods hidden I say.
-
try drilling a hole in the downpipe........
