  1. £750!! LOL!! he obviously had NO idea what he was letting himself in for then..... I wouldn't do it for less than £2000.
  2. I'd say trimsport too. it's definitely not one of those gash dubweiser ones.
  3. how much did you pay for the floor mods on yours?

the lumps are there to try and catch stones, to stop them hitting the windscreen. These are not a common sight int the UK, we've got one on the lupo, and people actually stop in the street, point, stare and laugh. and we got contantly questioned about what that "thing on the bonnet" is.....so be prepared for it if you do buy one........
  5. If it's the same VR6 T off the other forums, yes he is! he must, he's got a stonking Rallye VR6 turbo already, it's a beast. As far as I'm aware, only dubsport are offering 4wd conversions, but they make a hack job of it from what I've seen and charge a fortune for the piviledge too. Designa dubs can do them too, but they are bit far away from you...

I bought a Lupo one off german ebay, got good service. it was about £35 I think. bloke called "carprotect" (i think the name was Mesut Eser, athough I may have him confused with another german ebay seller). I presume it's mailto:[email protected] as it comes up on my AOLIM I could mail him and see if he'd do a group buy for us?
  7. number plate is OK, tailgate still look fecking awful though!
  8. I dunno, it's not really what i expected, just in one of those moods really. I'm snap out of it once it's all finished I guess
  9. It was the only bit of gash I got to see on the whole trip, cheers!
  10. Wasn't that silver vr turbo at ED38 up for 25,000 euro???!!?!
  11. so good you posted it twice! ;-) that's a whole world of wow, I'm well impressed. nice work. does it drive yet?
  12. I'm not talking about insurance value, I'm talking about sale value, what someone would actually pay. Insurance value doesn't mean sh1t anyway, they'll never pay up so what's the point.
  13. I'm sure you know the spec by now. Estimations please..............
  14. could be air in it? how's the fluid? topped up OK? changed the fluid....ever? using the Green VW stuff and NOT red ATF fluid?
  15. I have a 150a one, it's defintiely bigger than the 90a one, but I never got round to fitting it so I don't know what needs to be done.
  16. Anyone got any pics of a lifter fitted? I got an INXX one at Inters for £15, but I can't for the life of me see where it fits! then agin, mine's a late car, so I guess that explains why it won't go anywhere......just had the bloody bonnet painted inside and out too, so I don't fancy drilling it.
  17. I had to take off the propshaft, cats, bumper. front panel, inlet manifold and strut brace, just to remove the downpipes, twat them with a hammer, then put it all back together.... fitted the air con compressor. sound deadended under the rear seats and passenger side. wired up speedo. looked puzzledly at the bonnet lifeter, then decided I didn't know where to put it!
  18. do a search on http://www.vwvortex.com in the 12v VR6 forum, it's in there somehwere.
  19. how the feck did you get it on the rollers!??!?
  20. I already got those diagrams, they are OK, but it isn't precise and it tells me f*ck all about the rev counter. specifically after the proper VAG ones or bentley manual ones if poss?
  21. yeah, so many had reiger grilles and RS front bumpers. I must say I wasn't impressed with the UPS one. I used to adare it, but after seeing it close up I actually thought it looked a bit rough. due for a paint job I think, lose that poxy colour too. still can't knock the 500bhp motor, mental.
  22. It's driving...better...still not 100% though, and I can't work out what's stopping me selecting 6th, bloody shifter... Enjoyed worthersee immensly, it was mega.
  23. why were there so many brown ones? awesome none the less
  24. it's lot raspier then a VR, the crappy camera doesn't pick up the sound too well at that range. I'll have to get one of it going up the road. Quick revving is due to the 6lb alloy flywheel.
