  1. £6-800 IMO £1K is unrealistic unless they are like new...
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum... great looking VR - would love to see some more pics of it 8)

yeah  When you make your post there's a button to click on that says upload attachment - click this, select the pic you want and viola it's there in your post! Image tags don't work on images uploaded on here so you need to use something like imageshack or use our own http://upload.the-corrado.net/ 8)
  4. Just came accross this on the 'tex and thought y'all might like it too 8) You may find you already have it in your clip art but in case you don't here's the link for a free download
  5. It's funny that as I get older I notice myself making more of the sighs and groans that I remember my dad making when I was a kid... I also remember being able to get my big toe in my mouth which I'm pretty sure is impossible now (not that I'd want to)
  6. Get your self to a scrap yard - there will be plenty there in old Audi's and Seat's... although tbh they always look more orange than red when lit at night :?
  7. Thats Audi Nimbus Grey... great colour and would sweet with some nice deepdish rims 8)

Posted the pic for you... looks nice btw ;)
  9. I have a spare one of them (if I can find it) if you need it mate - they're £70 new  EDIT: Sorry mate I just remembered that I sold it a few months ago... :(
  10. Keep us updated as I'll have one too if they're available 8)
  11. Hello tricky! What C have you got? I spend a lot of time in Farnham so may have seen you about...
  12. Looks good matey... as for TT brake set up I think dinkus has them on his Vr so probably worth dropping him a PM to see how he's done it 8)
  13. lottysvdub, the 9A can be scanned fully but not with VAG-COM as far as I know. I say this as VAG-COM has only ever been able to read ABS codes on mine but The Phirm have a snap on scanner that is able to read everything... to be honest the 9A's set up is fairly useless - to the point that Tim (at The Phirm) is about to set mine up with the KR system so we can get away from all the associated problems... I suggest giving them a call and maybe getting up to see them as they're not all that far from you! Tim is very helpful and will be able to get you sorted no problems 8) HTH
  14. Same on mine - barren viod if you ask me :D
  15. Fair enough mate - although 4 of the 5 bad units I've had have looked seemingly alright even when buggered... I guess ISV is the next logical thing to look at though! :?
  16. I know I sound like a broken record but I still think it's the metering unit mate...
  17. Tall buildings tend to throw them but it's normally a case of sit tight, have a fag and wait for it too lock on - if you're traveling then it takes ages to find a signal... Air quality might have been the problem in Birmingham ;) (puts on flame suit  )
  18. Never had a problem with my navman - ok maybe once in London but I knew where I was anyway...
  19. Someone was saying that you can run with out the infernal sensor but I wouldn't bank on it - could be worth a try though... failing that give Tim a buzz at the Phirm or Vince as I'm sure they'll be able to talk you through how to do it... Good news about the improvement though :D
  20. Thats a good likeness
  21. Sounds like an awesome trip mate! Great pics too - the shaddow pic would be a good contender for the callender comp ;)
