Craig how do you find the gear change with that on though cos i like the Momo Evo gear knob but im a bit worried that it will make the gear shift feel even longer than it already is because of the increased height and the pointy bit at the front end/3rd gear area? plus i already have a stupidly difficultly nothcy change that is very easy to crunch so i dont want to exagerate the problem :? anyone else got any more pics of their knobs :lol: cheers, Alex

hi all, i was just wondering what the biggest alloys are that you can put on the Corrado without having them rubbing the wheel arches? i have seen some nice ones but some are only available in 18" and up :? cheers, Alex

fixed my central locking problem, put the seats back in after a good clean and just removed the rear wiper and smoothed out the rear VW badge ready for respraying.

Shilakadaddy, what colour is your C? Flash Red or Tornado Red? cheers,

right then people! i know its been a while since this thread was started but i wanna do this today and was wondering how the heck you get the wiper arm off first before you can remove the mech from inside the boot? also am i correct in saying i need a 14mm grommet for best fit? cheers,

can you put one of these bad boy BBM/Lysholm chargers onto a standard engine or do you have to uprate things first? if you have to uprate things what things need uprating. cheers,

i totally understand where your coming from check out the roof of my G60 > and the rear wing > i have got fed up with polishing it and waxing it etc all the time so its going for a respray on wednesday! 8)

right then everyone i really want to delete the roof gutters and im gonna do the VW badge at the back. now before i do the roof gutters i really need some clarification on whether they are going to crack and look sh*t in no time cos if im forking out for a respray i dont want to have to sort this out in a few months time again! i was advised by a mate in my aunts garage to get some plastic padding filler to do the gutters and he rekons they should be fine..... anyone got any advice? cheers,

hmmmm good question...... i have no idea BUT im currently in the middle of sourcing some lupo wipers and arms from a german dealer cos im certainly not paying nearly 90 quid!!! i will let you all know how i get on and if successful i may try and organise a group buy

yes i did take the door card off and re-conect the plug that goes into the CL loop. just sorted it now anyway...... i currently have no internal panels left in the car after checking the vacuum tubing between each actuator and in the end i had a hunch about the driver door handle........ found the old one that i have luckily kept and plugged that in, turend the key and hey presto the central locking worked!! :D monekeys at the dealer had obviously given me the wrong bloody door handle in the 1st place!!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!! im trying to sort out my central locking for my car as i am having an alarm fitted but the fitter has said that he cant install it till i have sorted the locking out! now 1st of all my central locking was fine when i first bought the car...... then my drivers door handle snapped when i lived in the middle east so i replaced it and i started getting funny issues with the central locking. at first you could lock the car ok with this new door handle but then it would sometimes lock hte car and then unlock it after about 15secs! after that putting the key in the lock on the drivers side only locked the drivers side with no noise or anything coming from the pump! however i could still lock the car from the passenger side and the central locking worked. now that the passenger handle has snapped as well i have replaced this with a passat rear handle so i can no longer lock hte car from there either so i now have no central locking at all! this is the wierd bit now......... if i take the door card off the drivers side and unplug the multiplug for the central locking, then go round individually locking all the locks including the fuel cap, when i plug the multi plug back in on the drivers door the cenral locking pump spins and opens all the doors!!! although this happens it doesnt solve my problem and im now a bit stuck with where to go next. you help will be very much appreciated and beers will be in order at the next meet for whoever has the solution! cheers,

that just looks like a clip that holds hte central locking piping and electrical cables out of hte way of hte window glass as it runs into the door. wouldnt have thought that would do anything mate, just had my door card off this evening and seen a load of them on the inside of the door itself but they only hold stuff out of the way
