Aren't standard volkswagen bushes just as good really? I mean any difference isn't going to be that noticable surely. If you say theres a difference, explain please.
-
How long does it take to replace wishbone bushes ? Anyone whos had this done, how much did it cost for labour ?

What i do at the minute is drive the Corrado 6 months and the Saxo for the other 6 months. Only having one insured at a time. This way the Corrado is stored away in winter and only adding around 5000 miles per year. Too good a car to destroy so quickly. Want it to be in top quality nick 10years from now.
-
Cool thanks Paulie - have to add them to my list
-
In.Pro m3's - hmm interesting - what places do you buy them from ?? eurocarparts? halfords?
-
very nice - where'd you get the lights on the back?
-
The compromise between speed and economy is top rate too. Drive it easy & you get 35mpg while flooring it won't kill you either. Worst youre gonna get is low 20's (maybe more?) if you TOTALLY rake it.

Theres a good little guide somewhere on here - go to the search facility and you should find it. Its a very simple job.

In the top left hand corner of this forum Cos it looks terrible
-
Fuck yeah - I don't see how anyone can be dissapointed in the valvers speed - does the job for me

Check out the Canadian Canada club for a walk through guide on installing amazing looking Audi headlights http://www.corrado-club.ca/ Would do the mod myself but looks like a nightmare job - maybe one day

Hey Leon - It's costing me £1400 approx, but thats with no years claims bonus. Im 24. With elephant.
-
Gotta say i don't find mine slow either. Why don't you draw up a little list and see what 0-60 time youre getting and how fast its going before red lining etc We could compare stats ! Would be fairly tricky thing to do i guess - but if you do it, ill do mine too.
-
Well looking at 0-60's the 1.8 has far better time Do a search here for "0-60" and you should find a list.

Crack/Knock/Jerk when accelerate & full lock
belfastfumanchu replied to belfastfumanchu's topic in Engine Bay
Cheers Kev - may have a go at replacing them myself -
So if im doing a 3 point turn or anything which requires full lock, I hear like a knocking / cracking sound. Also when you start to move off and accelerate you'll hear it then also which concerns me more than when i hear it on full lock. Anyone else experienced this ? Would it be something common like cv joints ?

Quick n simple question I put some normal unleaded (not super) in my corrado last week as it was 79.9p compared to 86.9 for the Super Seems to be that im getting a worse mpg with it. I heard that although Super/Ultimate etc petrol is more expensive, the car doesnt eat through it as quickly. Any other Corrado drivers find this to be true?
-
Glad i asked that - cheers dr mat
-
anyone know what the C.V in cv joints stands for
-
Exactly what type of audi handles are they ? Wouldnt mind getting them on mine
-
45mpg @ 55mph Thats how to save money if you dont mind being constantly overtaken.
-
thanks guys

Also you might not need to jack the car up at all. I was able to shine a torch through the grill (very top and to the right) until i see the cable. Then use something with a hook (the original corrado windows wiper are ideal if youve took them off in favour of the lupo wipers) Hook it round the cable and pull - hey presto the bonnet should open.

Mine wasn't starting recently & it was the immobiliser - maybe yours has an intermitant immobiliser prob Just a possibility
