  1. short changed there, really should be a bearing in there somewhere    yeah I did get that unimportant part too.
  2. Thank you 'Supercharged'. Up yours 'tyler' ...........only kidding, I nearly laughed tho.
  3. VAG Front wheel bearing kit for 2L 16v Rado, could someone identify the parts contained in the kit from left to right (see photo). I know what most of them are but unsure of some. Thanking you kindly.
  4. ......but does it do what it says on the tin
  5. Will 1 bar do the whole car?
  6. £25 posted. That photo is nothing like the Magnex bracket.
  7. Always liked this motor, got to be 1 of the best valvers around :notworthy:
  8. Am I missing something here? I get the site up but this message - 'Invalid Thread specified'
  9. I recently renewed all my wiper linkages/mechanism and they still judder, I'm still using the old wipers though.
  10. That's very nice but what are the holes in your splitter for?
  11. Hello I'm Badgering a Toad
  12. I might take you up on your offer, how much posted to me - NG10 5LR
  13. That's very kind, I'll let you know if I get stuck. I thought TPS just delt with the trade?
  14. Not sure if the temp gauge senders are all the same but I priced one up for my valver yesterday - £30
  15. Nice one Tom, look forward to seeing it at another midlands meet :)
  16. Thanks Andy, to be honest it looks like I'll be going for cheaper discs rather than VAG.
  17. While I'm on the subject of brakes, the VAG pads are equally expensive for the rear - recommend a decent set from GSF/ECP etc? Thanks again chaps.
  18. Thought I'd revive this one as I'm doing this again. I remember now how fiddley it was last time but how do you know for sure that the thermostat and rubber seal are seated correctly? The 'stat seat is very shallow and a fairly accurate fit. I've managed to get it roughly into position then wiggled (best description) side to side and up and down to try to 'settle' it into it's correct seat. The overlap of the engine block seems to be the biggest pain. The bolts hand tighten up evenly so hopefully this has done it. I'll know tomorrow when I nip the bolts up and refill. Any other suggestions welcome :)
  19. I didn't ask about discount and he didn't mention it although he usually does give it. Yes there is aTPS branch in Notts, I'll give them a call. £60 for Brembo's seems ok but really wanted VAG. I'll see what TPS come back with.
  20. £49 each  Can anybody recommend anything just as good from GSF, ECP or anywhere else. I ain't paying those prices if I can help it. Thanks Dave
