  1. Just ordered 2 bottles of MT90, got a great discount, many thanks. Will I receive these for the weekend? My order number is 118301. Thanks again. Dave
  2. You didn't happen to make a spare one of these did you dave? :D Martin Martin, I'm afraid not mate but I can probably make another if you like. Let me know. Dave
  3. Got it sorted today. Picked up a rubber hanger from Halfords, the hole in 1 end need enlarging which wasn't a problem. The problem was getting it to fit in such a confined space, had to whip the bumper off to do it. Then one of the bumper bolts wanted to go back in at an angle, anyway all done now ready for the AGM tomorrow.
  4. Ok thanks guys, will have a look round.
  5. Had my Magnex full system fitted today but have noticed the rear box has quite a bit of side to side movement. It doesn't take much effort to move it half an inch each side, then not much more to push it against the bumper cutout. The rubber hanger does seem to be quite soft but it's certainly not knackered. It's a 2nd hand system but is in great condition. Anyone else have this problem or is it normal? Was thinking of getting a harder rubber hanger. Thanks Dave
  6. Not fitted to 1.8 16v cars for starters :) It used to 'store' fuel vapour vented by the tank and is then drawn into the engine in under certain throttle conditions, basically it's just an emission control device. Dave, are you going to attach the tube to the brake cooling duct as well? As per usual for you it looks like a very nice part, considered making some kits up? Also I would consider unblanking the front airbox inlet, just incase you find a large puddle/get a lot of spray from the road as you may end up with the same sort of problem some people get with water when you mount a filter down in that area. Err, what is the brake cooling duct? I know I'm missing the covers underneath that attach to the splitter and bottom of wing. Too much of a pain making more than 1.
  7. Can anyone recommend an alternative, what about Just Mats? http://www.justmatz.co.uk/
  8. 1.8T - using it all the time at the moment until I get the Rado back on the road.
  9. Can see why you don't want to sit in it - those leathers are just awesome :D
  10. Didn't have any luck sourcing a new wipershaft so I'm afraid that part is now obsolete :( Not put down by this I took the shaft to work, drilled the existing worn bushes out and fitted a new Brass bush - the fit is just as good as the OEM and if I'm honest probably a better fit :D I compared it with the fit of the wiper shaft that is still available. Now that the linkage was in bits I cleaned up the steel frame and gave it a coat of hammerite. I then drilled and tapped the wipershafts M5, installed using countersunk screws so that it would pull up tightly in the frame holes and finally locked off with nuts. It's all fitted back on the car tonight all nice and tight :norty: Very happy with the end result.
  11. Ahh thank you sir :salute:
  12. Anyone? Just a quick pic looking from above - don't need to remove it from the car just open bonnet and click. Thanks peeps.
  13. Anyone got a photo of the front wiper linkage, I've stripped mine down and like a fool didn't take a pic or sketch it. I'm almost there with the rebuild but can't remember which way round 1 of the rods goes. Thanks Dave

  19. Dropped in at the Stealer today to ask about the bolster - their system doesn't say it's NOT available but should you order one they'll take a whopping £73 out of ya pocket. I bought one a couple of years back at about £27 ish.
  20. Yeah I've been on the look out for a cheap passenger seat. Think I'll give the stealer a try just in case.
  21. Does anyone know if the seat bolster is still available at the dealer? I bought one well over a year ago and at the time I think they were almost obsolete. Ta
