£200  Nice one, it's a good looking Rado already.
-
Oops just re-read it, I meant did NOT appear, sorry bout that.
-
Just be careful you don't bend the centre shaft if you try to lever the arm off. I used mole grips in the end and broke the old one off bit by bit.
-
The rear hump appeared in the 8V and 2L 16v only.

There's plenty there to sort. I'm in Notts if you ever need any help. Dave

A little update - I've started brightening up the engine bay with Polished Stainless bonnet prop and the tube from the ISV (no it's not a shower riser  ). I've got a few more plans but I'll keep them to myself for now.

I was rear ended last Friday and although the bumper wasn't damaged badly it needs repainting and the rear panel repairing and repainting - £425 all in.

Forgot to mention the Halfords Calcium batteries carry a 4 year guarantee.

Thanks for the above info, just been out to the car and the pump connetor wasn't even attached  Didn't have time to test drive it, will have to wait till end of work. Thanks again. Dave

I have a similar problem - VAG-COM throws up ABS pump problem. The light only comes on when the car gets above 10mph or thereabouts. I've cleaned the connector on the front of the ABS pump block but wasn't aware of the connector on the end.

I had to have an exchange battery at Halfords under gurantee last week and was advised to go for the Calcium type. I paid an extra tenner for it, get what you pay for I guess.

Trim off the perished rubber strip with a sharp blade, there a few on here that have done it including me and it looks much better.
-
Awesome work but maybe a little too much Orange under the bonnet.

Drop me a PM if you need one. Dave

I've got a set of these brackets up for grabs but I'd like some feedback when fitted. I only want the cost for post & packing on this 1st set. The original single piece bracket needs to come off first. Ta Dave

Looks very clean and shiny but I don't think the Red wheels look right but that's just my opinion, otherwise very nice.
-
Very nice, good choice.

It rained yesterday and I'm pleased to say the wipers were spot on. Even though I've got some play in the linkages they worked very well. So it's £16 against £70 for the Lupo setup - take your pick.

Repair sunroof, problem half way through........now with pic

The motor is timed to turn a specific amount of times depending on whether you tilt or slide the roof. It sounds like the motor needs setting up before you refit it. You need to operate the motor to find the correct starting position. Play around with the switch with the motor off but connected to power and you'll see what I mean. I'm only at M1 J25 if you need help. Dave -

Don't know, I thought all handles were VAG items. Can someone confirm this? Ta -
