    I was told from a reputable source (vw scene for years) that the standard height from wheel centre to bottom of arch is 360mm but last time I measured it didn't seem right. Can't remember why - don't have C anymore. Check it and make your own mind up.

    I get around 29-32mpg in my 1.8T Passat getting across Nottingham City about 13 miles in the morning drive to work. That is actually better than my 2L 16v Corrado. Motorway miles aren't much better - getting around 36mpg at a steady 70mph.

    I too found the ride height wasn't low enough over standard on my valver. Infact the rear was ok, it was the front that was high.

    Yes of course but wouldn't it be cheaper for me to send it you, then come up if you are having problems fitting it? I don't mind either way but it will cost you a ride :lol: as I don't own a C anymore :( Dave

    You'll be putting alot of heat into the roof, it may start to buckle.

    I applied WD40 on my stiff one.........oo er..........it did help.
