That's bonkers, the linkage on top of the gearbox IS adjustable, I did it myself with the afore mentioned 13mm spanner.

You're too kind :D

Bees, I think I've got a shifter box with the cables in my shed. Let me know if you're interested.

Still looking good Adam 8) What springs did you go for? I'd agree with an earlier comment about the rear lights and I'd also swap for a 90mm splitter if you're keeping the car. My views of course :)

This is exactly how I adjusted mine, the nut had come loose. Just follow the above instruction.

I think once people upgrade to a VR they don't very often go back.

This was my old valver and YES it was really nice when I sold it.

There are 2 other threads now!

If the handle has been removed before then the cable clip at the outer edge of the door may not have been re-fitted - noticed this on my car, I think it's very awkward to re-fit. This will allow you to pull the handle out enough to fit the kit.

Nobody will be buying it now. Just glad you're ok.

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
daves16v replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Nicedice, I'm here if you have any problems. -
There are plastic parts on the runners either side of the seat towards the rear as well. Check that these have not fallen off or have excessive wear in them. I think you can still get them from the Stealers.

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
daves16v replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Ideally it is better to completely remove the handle when fitting the kit which will mean taking the door card off. The molegrips (see photo) are to grip the screw when removing the pivot pin. You can use a vice or similar to grip it. I have had members send their door handle to me to repair but it means being without the handle for a few days. If you prefer to do this then I don't charge for it but you will have to pay for postage both ways. Dave -
kerrinmay, I had a similar problem, had the front wheels balanced - no change. Turned out to be the rear wheels needed balancing.

Get a nice Black one like mine 8) no need to colour code :D http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31029

KooradoG60, I've sent you an email but after reading this post I'm not sure that my repair kit will fix your problem. The Copper part has thrown me? Do you have a photo of the broken part? Edit - this is the part that breaks. Dave

If it's the same accident in The Sun today then it is a Renault Clio. -
After market suspension and wheels.

I offered to make these for those who were doing the 312 conversion but if you need something else let me know. Dave
