  1. The seventh day pic has gotta be one of the best C pics I've ever seen!
  2. Check out http://www.yell.com for local fabicators but as it's a one-off it won't be cheap.
  3. It is indeed, and it's now been made into a Wiki article complete with a free plug for daves16v's repair kits :D Cheers Dom  :D
  4. Have a go as above but I don't think you can pull the handle out very far, the cable isn't long enough.
  5. designrob, you need to peel away the lower corner (door lock end) of the plastic membrane and there you will find the central locking connector. You need to disconnect at that point, then you'll be able to remove the handle completely.
  6. Yes they are Stainless Steel and I will stick my neck out and say you will get better service from me than Ebay :D
  7. I think it was about £30 per pair.
  8. I've already drawn & cut them earlier this year.
  9. Corrado dislikes...................................not having one anymore
  10. mau803, I doubt it would be a cheap job to repair but you can always get an estimate. If you need the door plates just give me a shout and I'll see what I can do. Dave
  11. I made a couple of pairs which I sent out. Andi (admin) had a pair but I don't know if he had them fitted. The other pair went to someone on the Corrado Yahoo group if I remember correctly. I haven't touched them in at least 6 months but I need to do a slight mod to them as the early and late handles have very slight differences that affect a universal fit.
  12. First thing I noticed was how much bigger the Golf is!
  13. If anyone wants a repair kit, drop me a PM. Thanks Dave
  14. Hang on a minute, should this have a 'Not work/home safe' warning?
  15. The handbrake assembly is bolted to a piece of steel that is spotwelded to the tunnel. Over time this piece of steel develops a tear that eventually lengthens and detaches completely. Best way to repair it is by having this piece of steel properly welded back to the tunnel. I did this on my Rado and it has been fine ever since.
  16. There's something about that Blue, with those alloys and that ride height that looks so right!
  17. ECP do them for about the same money.
  18. I wrote a install guide for these but it's been taken off the knowledge base temporarily.
