  1. You said "the 205 GTi 1.9 8v will go straight in". It seems that it will, but it'll fall straight out of the bottom.
  2. Man, I love MOs. I just thought I'd add that. Sell me your car Trigger...oh, that's the other thread....:)
  3. Why wouldn't you ask the question if you had a G60? What do they have that needs an arming switch?!
  4. Take it to Kwik-Fit or some other random tyre and exhaust centre. They'll charge you bugger all and you've got a bit of come-back if there are problems. * EDIT * Should really refresh before posting! At least others are in agreement. Make it somebody else's problem dude.
  5. If break-downs and running costs are an issue then buy a 1.8 16v. I can honestly say that my Corrado is the cheapest car I've ever had with respect to running costs. You'd be mad to sell your car Trigger, unless you're going to buy something brand new with a comprehensive warranty; it's one of the most sorted Corrados on this forum. Anything else you buy will have its own set of problems. Better the devil you know. Oh, and yes...I do want it.
  6. I reckon so. I got my prices from the Machine Mart catalogue I have beside me just for example's sake.
  7. I believe there are a lot of surface changes and a fair bit of concrete. It doesn't sound particularly bike-friendly.
  8. Which Porter Cable polisher? According to their website, the 6'' model consumes 444W and the 7'' variable-speed monster consumes 1.2kW. If you've got the 6'' one then a £50-ish 750VA transformer will do, but the 7'' one will need a £70-ish 1500VA transformer.
  9. That Neeza looks like it's trying to be a Porsche Cayenne.
  10. The last one they did at Coltishall had cars and bikes on-track at the same time. I'll see if I can find the circuit layout.
  11. Did you know they hold car and bike track days at the ex-RAF Coltishall now?
  12. What a coincidence; I'm currently reading a 9.2 on my BS detector. By all means give me the proof I need to eat my words.
  13. Hello there, i saw you in your Corrado yesterday i think? Driving down the Aylsham Road? Would probably have been between 1 and 2 around where Smith and pinching is?? Nah, not me. I just finished working nights so I'd have been asleep at that time. It could have been my car I suppose, but whoever borrowed it had the decency to bring it back :) My car doesn't look quite like the pic in my signature any more. It's been running on the standard Sebring wheels since I got sick of the ride on the 17s.
  14. Hello from Sprowston. I'll be sure to wave if I see you on the mean streets of Norwich.
  15. I'll wager that my 1986 2.5 NA diesel Land Rover is better on-road than your Corrado (assuming you have one) is off-road...
  16. That sounds pretty normal to me. The tank isn't perfectly square so fuel usage isn't linear. In my 1.8 16v, around town, I can do almost 70 miles before the gauge even moves off the maximum mark. It still only does 30mpg though.
  17. That depends which side of the bulkhead it's leaking from. ETKA is the VW parts database, as used by the dealers.
  18. Crikey, they certainly were long if you had to shorten them by four metres :)
  19. 3.2 miles each way. That's three miles too far as well.
  20. I quite like it if I'm honest. I wouldn't actually *own* it but I can see a certain charm. That's not a Corrado in the background; it's got four doors...like a Passat, or Jetta as the US call them.
