  1. It's a beautiful thing, no doubt. Maybe I've been a student for two long because £50 just sounds like a lot to me these days!
  2. You don't have to buy a genuine one. I just used a standard circlip in it's place when mine went missing. It's been fine. I can't see the clip on ETKA!
  3. I straightened a bumper in worse shape than that, but it required a hydraulic press. You'll need more than a claw hammer!
  4. My standard 1.8 16v isn't much better. Crappy K-Jet...grrrr.
  5. Do they come with new injector seals? If not, get four from GSF for 70p each.
  6. I believe it is a 3mm Allen head. Turn it clockwise to richen and anti-clockwise to lean.
  7. Taking a wheel off is hardly a big deal. Surely it'd be easier to adjust with the wheel off anyway?
  8. Nice one 2cc. Looks like a handy tool to have laying around. Link to Frost camber gauge
  9. It doesn't work for me if I 'just click' because only half the URL is linked. This is the fixed link.
  10. I'm sure that place has been discussed on here before. I can't recall the outcome but his prices don't seem too over the top for a dealer. Have a quick search of the forum.
  11. If only all problems were that easy to solve! Glad you're sorted chap.
  12. After a few days on a bike my Corrado feels really smooth and quiet.
  13. You've set the distributor to TDC? Shouldn't it be set to the six degree mark on the flywheel?
  14. Keep us informed though. There's nothing worse than a 'problem' thread with suggestions but no conclusion!
  15. It's almost guaranteed to be your injectors. My 1.8 16v used to do the exact same thing and I changed a lot of stuff trying to fix it. In the end I bit the bullet and forked out £132 for a new set of injectors from GSF and it's been perfect ever since. Injectors can be bought a lot cheaper now from other companies, like £12.50 each cheap! A quick search should find the details you need.
  16. Sounds like a decent price for a VR6. May well be a bit high for a 16v.
  17. It seems like a load of old bollocks to me, if I'm honest. I know a few members of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists and they're mostly pretty poor riders in my opinion. However, if you're approaching it as more of a training course than something that gives you bragging rights then that's got to be a good thing. Best of luck with it all the same.
  18. How the hell did he end up on the grass in the first place? Surely that must have been a mechanical failure of some description.
  19. You can certainly expect fuel economy in the mid-30s from a 2.0 16v if you're not driving like you stole it. That's comparable with most modern petrol cars of a similar capacity I feel.
  20. I can tell you that part number is for a "retainer", but I can't see a late, RHD dash replacement.
  21. I don't think they're that much from the dealer.
