I do admire the Corrado.....every time I walk away from it I can't resist looking back. Imagine what I'd be like if it was a nice example! However, I am considering an S2000 for next year.

There's nothing like knowing your own car....and that's nothing like it.

I used the Jaguar you get for 50% completion and lapped 2nd place over 30 times. -
I love the name of the domain hosting the pics: Shovelbeating....lol

I've always liked white Corrados but, sadly, that one does nothing for me.

What does that include? Everything from the manifold back?

Look the same to me!

Do I dare ask ask how much the system cost?

It's almost like looking at the back of my car.....with a funkier exhaust.

I'm still stuck on the thought of school assembly with lots of girls. -

Would you care to explain that comment? I have no idea what you mean. Sorry, I should have added [/sarcasm] ;) I was implying that you should be a man and do it in machine code rather than cop out and do it in nice pretty C  How about we go nuts and write the whole thing in binary.....1110010100110010100111...... Assembly is for girls after all. -
The MFA, I believe, calculates fuel economy based on the inlet manifold vacuum, which obviously changes with throttle position. It is really only a gimmick and should only be used as a guide.

....hence the beauty of writing C that is compiled to the PIC assembly code. -

In that case you may want to look towards Microchip PIC microcontrollers and an associated C compiler. That's the simplest and most cost-effective solution for a project of that size I can think of. Which university are you studying at by the way? -
Is that a bonnet vent I see?

Well considering its illegal to drive around without insurance, i'd assume he is! Well, if we're splitting hairs... I think he may have meant "insured against theft", since it IS legal to drive on the road with insurance that doesn't include cover for theft.

That's some sh1tty news. What sort of security did the car have?

I was actually talking from a software perspective. Am I right to assume you haven't written any code for, say, any of the Microchip PIC range of microcontrollers in either assembly or C? What languages/APIs are you most comfortable with? -
Is that a mini lava-lamp plugged into that electrical socket in the first pic?

That has GOT to stink! You may want to attempt that method of plastic welding in a well ventilated area.....

I changed my clutch about 3k miles ago as it was juddering badly (£100 for the cluch from GSF). It still judders slightly so I'm expecting a slave cylinder failure in the near future. Joy.
