    Damn this game is addictive. I'm at just under 60% and seven hours into the Nurburgring 24 hour endurance as we speak. How are other people getting on with the game?

    It's not that easy now as you need to provide the car registration documents to got the plates made up....at least you SHOULD have to. Last year a mate of mine got a London congestion charge bill for his girlfriend's Nova. The car hadn't left Norfolk in the six years that she'd owned it.

    A quick scout through the Autotrader tells me that the Octavia vRS doesn't appear to be depreciating badly at all. I'd still have one. The normally aspirated diesel version may not hold its money quite so well.

    My mate has an 02-plate yellow Octavia vRS that he bought as an ex-demo (I believe it was three months old at the time) to replace his Mk.2 Golf 16v. I really like it. It's quick and stylish - although the clocks are a bit iffy - and has been faultless since the day of purchase. He did lose quite comprehensively in a race along the Norwich southern by-pass against a Corrado VR6 last year though. To conclude: great car and highly recommended.

    Congratulation, from a distance your car looks like a Renault 11 :pukeright: Not my cup of tea at all, but these differences in opinion keep the scene interesting I guess. More power to you for taking the leap and giving it a try :thumbleft:

    I'd love to check this but the sunroof no longer opens. It was fine before the winter now does squat apart from tilt. I guess it can just stay like that too!

    The Lotus Carlton is in the early '90s used car section. It comes and goes but it's always a 1990 model so will be at the top of the list. It's either 23k or 28k...can't remember exactly. 345bhp out of the box, 381bhp with an oil change and good for 600-odd horsepower in a fully tuned state.

    Anybody else found the used 1990 Lotus Carlton? What an awesome car to find hiding in there!

    That's a really nice looking car, although the exhaust looks a bit odd. Overall the car has a sort of 'American' feel to it I think. Maybe it's the wheels (which I love) and the side-skirts.

    Sounds like the R1.... For all those who don't want to waste time winning crap cars that can't be used for races, there's a prize car list available on the 'net. It's not cheating (IMO) as you've still actually got to win the races, which is far from trivial in some cases.     Why the Wolfsburg plate? It there another Californian Corrado on the forum with one of those or am I imagining it?
