Sounds like a proper bargain to me. I may well invest in one shortly as my front mount is also toast. A link would make life easier but I guess I can do it the hard way.
-
It's awesome enough to have two posts dedicated to it I think! Peace.

Migweb: http://www.migweb.co.uk/ ....for all your Vauxhall forum needs.

So there are no pics of the car when Phat's mate had it?

It's as real as this....http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27115&lighter=

I actually don't mind the back end. The front on the other hand is pretty rank.
-
Straight swap or are there any 'issues' to deal with?
-
As far as I know the 16v pump produces the highest pressure of all Corrado fuel systems. I could be wrong though.
-
What's that in the subject line about a turbo? Where does that fit into the equation?
-
189mph? Surely with those larger wheels you'll have a slightly under-reading speedo. Best to say 195mph to be sure.
-
I've said it once and I'll say it again...."your daughter is hot".

With good tyres £140 for four and with no tyres about £100 max. I paid £155 for six Sebrings with four good tyres between them.

Interesting...my (apparently) 136bhp 16v seems to use more fuel than both the G60 and VR6.
-
Did it reach 500bhp in February 2005 as mentioned in your sig. link?
-
Saw this and thought i'd share it with u all...

Ahhhhhh that'll be it. How silly of me. -
LMFAO...that's awesome.
-
It's in the sig....TT seats front and rear. There's a thread about them here.

Nice car....shady location!
-
What did the sign on Phat's car say then?
-
The breathless 1.8 16v motor.

Errrr...I quite like it but I have no idea why. -
Hmmmm....under £500 in close to two years. That includes a new exhaust, a set of 17'' wheels, a pair of tyres for the winter Sebrings and last year's M.O.T. To be honest the Corrado is one of the cheapest cars I've had for running costs. I'm considering a change to a VR6 but I think I'd get annoyed with it because it would, undoubtedly, cost me more to run.

I drove it. The weather's been too nice recently to be stuck in a car.

I've got a copy of VW Motoring (March 1997) in front of me. The front page reads "New Corrado? First Pics"....and there's a picture of what appears to be a blue VW Bora. Riiiiiight.
