Glad you liked my arm blackcat16v 8) just for the record I don't ride (too old to ride most things nowadays) the clutch, so was very surprised to see the state it was in. Purely out of curiosity, anyone else experienced this, or is it a rarity?

I wouldn't say its any consolation to her Henny, but I think its amusing. But I'd have to agree. Try bleeding it first, then a new slave cyl a snip at £37 from vag. Then I'm afraid it looks like gearbox off to check inside. Most probably the friction plate but could be a failing release arm (see the pic of mine when it came out)

late but on saturday, ran the basslink remote cable in properly down the tunnel and shined her up for yesterdays agm. Covered in sh1t again now coz it rained all the way home

Don't forget to diss the fog/ind wiring connectors; behind the headlights so those have to come out as well. Kev, I found the bumper real easy on my own, but admit I was cautious as didn't know what to expect till I did it

Tried it on mine when I did the clutch & chains. Couldn't even get the fans out so eventually took the whole front off. So reckon the factory procedure is spot on (for a change)

Push the front edge of seat back and lift a bit, then pull foward and lift again & should come free, then pull forward and out. Pix show how it looks so you'll get the idea.
