There's no adjustment. Only thing I can suggest is you check the window guides are all clear and nothing stopping the glass going all the way up. I have known the 'felt' inserts in the guide rails to kink or displace slightly which stops the glass travelling smoothly/fully.

Well, after spending some time on my wheel this morning there is good news and bad news. Good news is the rim was saved from damage by its having squished the tyre against the kerb. So after expending a bit of elbow grease on it to remove the rubber/chemical deposits?? there is hardly any thing to show for it. Bad news is that the tyre wall is done for and they don’t make these anymore; doubly annoying as I really like them. Pse see my post in “Wanted” for Goodyear Eagle F1 205/50ZR15 (86WGS02) as I don’t like different tread patterns on the car and wasn’t really planning on buying 4 new tyres this week – assuming I can find any I like. Any thoughts on similar tyres welcome; its such a pain when you buy a new type and then find you don’t like them (eg last set of Avons!). Cheers all

Must be the way you look at it Chris But yeah, mine was a pain till I sussed how it was held together. I take the seats out now when I need to get the console out as there really isn't enough space to get at it otherwise.

Damn Damn Damn When will I learn to keep my stupid mouth shut. Driving to work just now and the white van man in front decided to rear end the bloke in front of him in a stationary queue. So I'm negotiating my way around and he decides it would be a good idea to reverse at me  NO!!! Just had time to get a bit more lock on so he missed me, but the bad news is I kerbed my speedline (scuffed it really) but it buggered the tyre. AAAAGGGGHHHH

crack me up everytime PS Mine's working fine too. Perhaps you could do some stats on how often people don't post on 'what I did to my Corrado today' as an indicator of them actually working?

Is it the photo or is the front bumper smacked? Other than that looks very tidy

Found em at last. The numbers you want are: "Sill Clip" 191853615A - these fit on to the plastic cover strip and then push into the "Grommet" 191853586D - these push into the holes in the sill panel. Obvious when you see them HTH

Hi tug, just found the part numbers for 'weather membrane repair'. My invoice shows two items used, both named "Foil" First is 3A0035217 and cost £1.68 Second is 3A0867201H and cost £6.83 So I reckon the second one is the main part, and can't imagine what the other bit might have been. HTH

Think you'll find they don't supply them as replacement parts, they certainly don't for the C (coz they buggered mine :bad-words: when they had it for scum damage repairs some time back). They now do a thin foam sheet, comes in a big roll and they just cut a chunk off and slap it on the door. No idea if it has a part number but the stealer should know what you're on about.

yes yes yes they both did it to some degree in standard form too severity depends how much throttle you use solution? its not that much of a problem so I don't really care

gutted 4u m8. there's no justice. chav scum and small bollards should both be outlawed
-
Yep the new clips are a different design to the original. They should come with separate inserts that plug into the sill panel, than the plastic cover clips push into the inserts. I might have the numbers somewhere, but the dealer should know this.
-
Yep, have to give the standard C seats a tick in the box too as my back is not in tip top nick anymore but I can sit there for ages no prob; though ocassionally think a lumbar adjust might be a nice addition.
-
Nope (even more pennies that). Actually I have to agree that the mech grip far exceeds the C's, probably what I liked at the time as it just went calmly where I pointed it without its bottom hanging out. But yeah, the C does have a bit of character by doing that. Perhaps I should have turned the ESP off but didn't want to risk putting it through a hedge LOL

Dull, heavy and remote surprises me andy. Did I get the description wrong? This is the quattro - I thought it was very light and responsive (the vr is pretty heavy after all). Granted it might understeer when you push it on the track but I was on a road. Whatever, I still enjoyed it.

Drove my nephew's new 3.2 TT manual hardtop on Monday (yes its fully run in). It was awwwwwwwesooooooommmmmmme. :D :D :D :D :D Very impressed with the whole package, everything felt just right. If I had £30K to spare.........maybe, just maybe. Anyone else had the pleasure?

Hello and welcome. This is deffo the place to be for getting answers 'n stuff.

Check the back tyres too. I thought it was daft when I had a similar problem and my dealer suggested it, but they were dead right.
