Waiting for new wheels/tyres to come home,so thought I'd take the old gerl out for a run round the compound this afternoon. As three of my tyres won't go thru the MOT, thought I 'd have a bit of fun...

Then got shouted at for leaving 20ft long black eleven's down the road

Even that couldn't stop me grinning-can't wait to get it road legal! :-P

Just been to the scrappy today, so gonna resurrect this thread!

Got a heater control panel off a Seat Toledo (with aircon too!) along with its cigarette lighter - bring on the beginning of the conversion to red illumination! And to think I thought that doing the heater controls would be the hardest bit!

Fitted my new polished stainless gear shift surround and leather gaitor, both made by myself and well pleased with it.

I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

Fitted new door handles and catch mechanisms, then after getting bored with that job started replacing the ISV silencer and pipes.

Had a horibble griding noise from the front.

Took the front wheels off, put them back on and the noise went away.
