biggerbigneil, not sure about that mid 70s theroy. My old VR was more gutsy than my current one (as I remember it) and it was around the 115k-125k mark.

Supercharged looked at a VR with 290K on the clock recently, all original apart from a chain job at 145K ish....

 

Ghandi's VR is living proof they can go on forever....

 

I'd be interested to see what it's putting out on the rollers now it's nicely run in....

I got 181bhp on the rollers recently, but I did have a small vacuum leak and an idle problem - plus I have a/c... so it's doing alright :)
