Jim 2 Posted December 22, 2005 The Saleen looks like an NSX on steroids! But I much prefer the sleekness of the NSX.. And comparing the Saleen and the Bugatti i'd take the Bugatti ANY day even if they cost the same! Its an absolute no brainer for me! Saleen has old school styling and the Bugatti is wild, new, daring and fresh.. its sublime. Not only that but I wager the Veyron will be a lot more reliable and durable than the Saleen... KARMANN 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Veyron any day
Phil K 0 Posted December 22, 2005 The Saleen looks like an NSX on steroids! Was just about to say the same... very NSX to me :?
saysomestuff 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Veyron's more of a statement I reckon, a statement like: "I have £840k to spend on a car" The S7 says: "Yeah I'm into speed and i've got the spare £35k knocking around for the 1000bhp upgrade but that veyron makes me look like a cheap jap car" I personally think i'd prefer a w12'd 4WD corrado and keep the change
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 22, 2005 I rather fancy either personally although I wish Bugatti would lift their stupid "two tone only" restriction. If I was paying £840K for a car, I'd expect to be given a choice!! That cream and grey example just looks wrong.....it's gotta be all dark blue, graphite or black imo :-) Several cars have and have had in days gone by - 1000hp (and more), but none do it quite as well as the V. They've all been race cars with mega tuned engines for the road....the V is a proper 'road car' with all the refinement and luxury of VW's other wing, Bentley. It just happens to have a relatively unstressed 1000hp engine (capable of a LOT more but the box can't handle it) :-)
chrishill 0 Posted December 22, 2005 I wish Bugatti would lift their stupid "two tone only" restriction. If I was paying £840K for a car, I'd expect to be given a choice!! I'll have mine black and REALLY dark grey please Mr buagtti :)

I'll have mine black and REALLY dark grey please Mr buagtti :) Lets face it though - If you can afford £840K for a car and the fuel bill etc to go with. Then i'm pretty sure you could also afford the best strip down and respray possible!!!!!
Trig 0 Posted December 22, 2005 I dunno if i'd be happy letting my brand new Buggati with its £4.5k indicator stalks be stripped down! Yeh you most likely could afford it but when you are paying the best part of 1million quid I think you should get a better selection of colours.. I'd have black or really dark grey (not at the same time). When an object is doing 255mph it's very hard to tell what colour it is anyway :) Shall we drop them an email with our concerns? ;)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 22, 2005 Two tones...well, it doesn't say we can't specify the colours in RGB!! So Mr Bugatti, 0,0,0 and 0,0,1 for me please :-) Would be funny taking a bugatti into my local shop for a repaint though....
Critical_Mass 10 Posted December 22, 2005 Veyron no contest, but i wouldnt say no to the saleen. Still a nice car.
Lippy 0 Posted December 22, 2005 wonder if you could unhook the 4x4 like Phat did at Stealth and drop it on Vinces rollers!
Blue_Joe 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Except Vince's Rollers would probably self destruct if you put that on it!
Trig 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Yeh, I think they max out well under 255mph :) The bearings would explode and the Veyron would tear itself apart... still be fun though!
Banana Man 0 Posted December 22, 2005 I love the S7 better looking than the veyron imo
Ronan 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Mmmm... Hahahahahhaa, speed camera detector on the dash...like youd need that!
Trig 0 Posted December 22, 2005 I think that's actualy a Flux Capacitor ;)
Stan 24v 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Anyone else thing the S7 looks like a McLaren F1 with a (rear) penis extension? Veyron every time... I thought the same thing
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 22, 2005 Speaking of the F1, apparently it's worth a million quid today in 100% standard trim. Even non standard and/or 'rough' ones fetch well over £400K! Not bad for a 10 year old (super) car..... by comparison the Porsche GT will only be worth £150K next year, against it's £353K current list price. g60greeny 0 Posted December 22, 2005 veyron all the way for me(up&an downy rear spoiler included) looks far more classier imo
Stan 24v 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Those F1 mirrors dont look the same as C mirrors to me, thought they had the same ones??????????
chrishill 0 Posted December 22, 2005 hard to beleive the f1 is over ten years old now, thinking back though I was about 13/14 when it came out, I saw it at the burmingham motorshow along with the viper, escort cossie and the 'new' micra when it first went bubble shaped. its aged well in comparison! dinkus 10 Posted December 22, 2005 Those F1 mirrors dont look the same as C mirrors to me, thought they had the same ones?????????? Yeah, good point! Maybe only some of the versions of the F1 had C mirrors?
