Hi all
The driver's side window failed to lift a while ago so. after an epic struggle to get the motor and regulator arms out the reason for the item's failure was clearly the cable snapping, at the bottom end. Taking the cover off the winder, was also a revelation as the snapped cable had jammed the worm gear. (hence the problem dropping the window to remove the mechanism). The motor checked out as still fit for service.
All the parts are serviceable so I figure that a cable repair kit sh
Just wondering if anyone has a reiger 3 bar grill and light spoiler for sale for my VR6 Storm? I have one somewhere at my dads house but he can't find it, gutted.... trying to avoid buying a new one but i will if i have to. Already have 3 different grills for it but would like to add the reiger one to the collection. Variety is the spice of life after all :)
Mine is a very high mileage Vr6 and the latest to occur is the the clutch pedal not returning to it's normal position. When I depress it I cannot get reverse at all!!! Stick in first and the car is off with pedal still to floor. I suspect it's the master cylinder.
Is it difficult to change? I know I can get one delivered how hard can it be.
Yet again friends and fellow Rado owners I need help !!!

All of a sudden it wont start. It turns over and fires up for a few seconds and just dies, I have noticed a squealing/whistling noise as I turn the key, I think this has some relevance to the problem. Sucking air perhaps? Have looked for the obvious things like holes in pipes and have cleaned the AFM with carb cleaner..Any ideas anyone ???? :-(
Have not posted for a long time, mainly due to an extended period overseas. The red VR6 is still in hibernation and the silver VR6 is in bits awaiting a re-spray.
Anyway, back in UK for a while, so I decided to buy a run-around pending completion of the Silver VR6 (getting painted soon) and ended up with a third Corrado, a 1996 8v in Midnight Blue with full leather interior. A dealer demonstrator for 3 months, then the car was owned by a woman (airline cabin crew). She seems to have absolu
Hi
I'm after a bit of feedback on an issue I have.
I have a 1996 vr6 storm in blue and it has failed it's mot. At the moment I can't afford (the money or time) to mot it (due to my wedding my wife's birthday christmas my the purchase of my new car) and am considering trying to sell it with no mot. The car is tidy and has 126k on the clock. It runs and drives fantastic and has been my daily runner for nearly 3 years. It has been LPG converted so I could afford to keep it on the road (th
Having spent a ridiculous 16 hours sorting Heater Matrix - including cleaning out air intakes of water, glycol and K-Seal - found that I still need to replace the Thermal Resistor to get fully functioning fan speeds.
I now need to identify a source for the persihed foam gaskets that covered the doors to the Heater Matrix Box to ensure that the air flow is suitably directed.
I have identified that the Foam Gaskets for the "doors" in the Heater Matrix Box have perished and I need to source
Well it's been slow so far, as I have had a few things hold me up. The loom won't work (Mk4 stuff) so I've had to start sourcing Mk5 electrics which as you can imagine isn't easy to find.
Engine is ready to come out and the new engine is ready to go in, so all in all making good progress.
Some pics.

help guys. Ive been having a bit of a cold start and rough idling issue and i'm thinking its the coil pack. I have removed the pack with a view to maybe trying the epoxy fix and discovered that there is no cover on the pack (covers the buzz bars going from the pin socket to the actual coils) hope that desc makes sense. I'm going to seal the pack with resin anyway and see if it works but wonder if anyone has a broken pack with the cover that i could potentially buy or your thoughts as to wether i

With insurance and MOT due in November, I decided to move my satin silver VR6 to the back garden and SORN it for a few weeks while I get a few things sorted at the weekends.
Important stuff to do include (but by no means limited to!):
* New rear beam bushes. Got some Powerflex ones months ago that I've not got round to fitting. I was debating whether to use genuine instead, but thought I may as well give the Powerflex a try. Will also be fitting new discs and bearings

this has been playhing at me for days now, take the plunge and be poor to go balls out vamping up the vr with a turbo or just drop in the 1.8t bam engine. 225 bhp straight... cheaper too, i think..
