Alex's G60 Mistress - New things and sexy ladies...

Hello all!   Been quite productive the last few days :smug:   First off I made a sandwich Chicken, cirozo, peperoni, hummus, cheddar cheese, lettice and peri peri sauce... FOR THE WIN! :thumbleft:   Then I went about fixing my door card. With a little fiberglass I just applied it to the card backing and built up the layers a few at a time. from this: to this to this 45976[/A

important lesson

always check a replacement engine thoroughyl before putting it in.   fitted my replacement engine this weekend and after a few hiccups got it running sweet. only to find that one of the core plugs has a leak.

Blackberry VR6, It's making my shed in the garden look good..

Right, as promised earlier some pictures of said shed of a car.   Bonnet cable has snapped at the stupid little clip that attaches to the release handle, paint needs a lot of work, centre console is snapped as per usual on a late car (got a plastic welding kit on order along with some steel rod to reinforce it) and its generally very grotty right now.   It's had a two stage wash, first jet washed, then foamed with a universal degreaser (Megs universal degreaser 50/50 with warm water) jet w

Yandards' Blackberry VR6 - From shed to not so shed like (That's the plan..)

Collected the car this morning, in the cold hard sunlight as opposed to snow it looks terrible!   Run back was good, suprisingly rapid although I did drive down to get it in Mrs Yandards' 1.9 TDI Passat (90bhp, downhill with a trailing wind) so it was always going to feel quick.   Despite the camber being off the lowered springs were not too bad but I still intend to refit some factory items instead. Only snag on the run up was that it's stalling at junctions, factory airbox should help,

Post 3 - Coilovers on!

Well, coilovers are on :smug:. Took some pictures tonight but the fading light means they are a bit grainy. Really pleased with how it sits, it's still bedding in but I might go a bit lower at the back and a bit higher at the front we'll see.

So it begins

So, i have finally found the drive and enthusiasm to start the project i had initiannly planned for my corrado.   i have only found this vision from being without my corrado for a month or two, after she cooked her bottom end.   i put a deposit down for a replacement engine today and should be fitting it next weekend.     lets hope this motivation lasts.

Ok, so this is just a bunch of pictures for now, I know how you all love pictures! This is what the car looked like two years ago on the day that I collected it. Ollie's VR6 - First blog entry

So, inspired by Alex's member thread, I have decided to centralise all my 'to-do' lists so you lot can read it and I can keep on top of it. My Corrado has pretty much been off the road for two years now but in 2011 I AM going to get it sorted! I will do a second entry with the history of the car later in the week, and I will include some pictures. I am going to try and be organised by sorting my list into sections, I'm hoping I can group them together so that all the bits in each group will b
