1. My good lady has bought me this kit for my birthday but won't let me build it until then (next month).
2. Got this picture of mine and Wayne's Corrados. Both on low beam but difference in colour is obvious. High beam still lights the one lit (just changes filament) and lights up the other bulb in the headlight unit.
3. Good old Ebay had a setup like this for sale recently. It suggested it was about 210 BHP.
4. Got both but doubt I'm getting that much.
5. My daily drive is a mildly tuned 9a and I love it. Torque is not a problem despite having the 50mm intake and living in hilly Yorkshire.
6. I bought one new from ebay as a spare but my original was still working fine. The ebay one only cost about £50 and worked fine but I flogged it on here to help someone out who needed one.
7. I got some given along with the clock surround and a headlight switch from a bloke I'd bought a moonroof from. Guess I got a few £'s worth of freebies
8. My brother had an 10x3x3 tank full of cichlids and Oscars and it looked pretty good. His convict had loads of babies so I popped one in my normal tropical community tank, where it got huge and battered the life out of the other fish so it had to go. Pretty fish, but angry little gits.
9. Simple bolt on modest upgrades as it is a daily drive.....KR cams = great bang for bucks upgrade, K&N panel, 50mm intake = looks great but allegedly you loose an bit of torque (I didn't notice) but gain some bhp and revs (I noticed this :) ), chipped = seemed more eager and gave better drivability, decat and full jetex. I've no idea what power it's putting out and really should have it run/setup on a rolling road. Next consideration for me is a 4-1 manifold if I could get one that definitely fits (most online suggest won't fit RHD corrado with power steering)
10. I upgraded the valver a bit so it drives better and is slightly faster, but it's still slow. Suppose any engine would fit (where's there's a will there's a way) but at what cost. You could always source an old turbo kit for the valver or supercharge it......come to think of it, someone's selling a supercharged ABF lump on ebay at the moment, that could suit your needs and will fit.
11. What modern car are you wanting to keep up with? It's probably cheaper to sell your valver and buy one that's already had a transplant rather than do it yourself. The valver is probably a worse choice of base as it has smaller brakes than the VR so you also need to upgrade them to cope with extra power.
12. I think the plug just pulls out from memory. Before you do, have you pulled one of the water hoses going to the jets to make sure your getting water there. If you are then shove a needle down the jet to free any blockages rather than removing them.
13. I was on a supermoto, much more fun
14. Not far from Anstruther then with it's amazing fish n chips. First sampled them after doing a track day at Crail.
15. Used this on my moonroof to keep things moving freely. Cheap and effective. :thumbleft: If anyone's interested, I have a late style sunroof motor and a the Passat one touch switch taking up space in my garage.
16. I've been considering letting the better half buy me a stainless exhaust manifold for Xmas, but most I've looked at on ebay suggest they fit all but a 2.0 with power steering, which mine is. Does anyone know of or have a manifold that fits. Also is there much benefit to be had from fitting (other than having another shiny part)?
17. The Fiesta Zetec S's chassis can't be the same as a poor performance was shown this morning when one was trying to outrun me. :)
18. Bit far for me to loan you one to see if that's your problem.
19. Welcome to the forum Mike, where are you based?
20. I tried to give my old coilovers away and nobody wanted them either.

Welcome to the fold fellow valver owner.
22. Just seen this on ebay and remembered this thread. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-G60-65mm-Pulley-ECU-Chip-and-Belt-Corrado-Mk2-Golf-/191689310829?hash=item2ca192c26d
