Went To York at the Weekend! Ended up doing a Respectable [email protected] 8) Not Bad for standard! Hopefully with a Re-map should be into the low 14's!!! Some Cool action pics at York Raceway: A few from a Very Sunny Hartside Cafe: And Some from the VWSN Big Fat Tour: -
Why??? When you can use all the original VAG loom and have the reliability of being able to Plug in VAG-Com if you have any probs! VW didn't spend millions of Euro's developing the Management software for nowt you know!
-
Well VR's go pop too! But they Fook everything! At least when a G-lader Goes Pop you still have a 1.8 8V to drive with :)

Absloute Frickin' Retard! Did you not tell him that his carelessness has probably written off your car! Proper gutted for you! Looked a lovely car! -
Seems strange that VAG would do it with one block and not the other
-
Don't see why you should've lost out on Paypal fees too! You can refund a full or part payment to the buyer within 60 Days of them paying for the item with no cost to the person who paid!
-
As G60bv says as long as you have as much of the donor car as possible it can be done! Guess you've popped the VR then???
-
no neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it's true
-
Well the 1.8 16v KR Block is a diesel block and that has Oil Squirters under the pistons to cool them down! Would've thought that a similar VW diesel block would have the same????

Deffo Saves your Bonnet from stone chips! Think it looks kinda cool on my Nugget C! Deffo good in this moving shot: Dunt like staying on when you go hunting 350Z's at 140mph though ;)

Well The guys that did mine did for roughly 1/2 the price JBS will quote you! Depends on the Motor (150 KO3, 180KO3S or 225 KO4) and what else you want doing really! I'm really pleased with mine! Goes like Fook (even std) and a i'm a simple remap away from an easy 230-240Bhp!!!! It's a fairly simple swap into a C 'cos all the hydraulic clutch and everything is already there, Wiring best left to the experts and you'll need downpipes fabricating etc etc plus custom intercooler! I see your from the NE, I go to most local meets, Section 5, VagCars etc, pop over and have a chat, The 2 lads (Andy and Andy) have really done a 1st class job like! HTH Steve

Reciepts for the parts from BBM in the states apparantly, Not sure who's done it though as it's been done over the pond! Well take it as a useable charger then, about £400-£500????
-
Forgot to Say TA for posting the bits on! Would you believe that the Boss won't fit my car, mine has the early small spline  :( Luckily my Italvonti one was a perfect match to the Momo wheel  It looks right good! Cheers!
-
How much do these things sell for???? It's been rebuilt, with new seals etc, but not tweaked! My dads friend in the states has aquired one in a parts deal, asked if I was interested in it 8) Cheers Steve
