  1. Really! Cool As Shizzle :D It's made by italvolanti, If my C was still a valver I'd bite your arm off! Glad to hear it's pretty solid, Wicked Colour Too, May I be cheeky and ask how much you paid for it???? Plus I have a rare as rocking horse poo interior that would go really well in it.....if you're interested???
  2. Cool! Std MK2 Coke Bottle top alloys! Old Skool Man  Even the wiper is the wrong way round! Looks pretty solid though, Those F-platers can be a twat for rust round the tailgates especially! BTW the wheel dun look like this does it: If so it's fairly rare and pretty cool in a valver IMO!
  3. Don't Think So! He may be at the S5 meet on Sunday with it though!
  4. I know it's £200 over your budget, but Tim (Who was on the clubstand at festival) has his MK2 GTI 16V up for sale, think it's Helios Blue too, wants a grand for it, just done under a 100K IIRC! Good nick and runs sweet as a nut!
  5. They are fast as Fook for a little 1300! Rev like a revvy thing thats been revved a lot :D Our Kid used to have one, used to hang onto the arse of my GTI 16V upto 80mph! For £300 sovs you could get a decent Range of VAG Cheapness: http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/ca ... ull=SEARCH Quick search on autotrader revealed a few gems amongst the cack ;)
  6. Don't Do It Man! Benn having a think about what you said at VW Festival.........Bollox to it being what it is, just do it, Sort of outside the Box style!
  7. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vIC71iqBT ... ed&search= Mmmmm 499bhp in a bike  At the end the speedo from the camera bike reads 280Kph thats over 170Mph and the Busa Turbo just goes past it like it's going back wards!!!
  8. The Reason REVO charge soooo much for the immobiliser defeat is that they remap it too IIRC! The guy who did the loom for mine charges roughly £350-£450 to do the complete loom and immobiliser defeat! He'd done the loom for VRbanna's twin engined Rado too! Mine is running the secondry airpump and the twin lambda's plus the VVT and DBW so it's all as VAG intended! Using Stock clocks too with a bit of help from Jabba's conversion thing! The reason I plumped for VAG Engine management was having VAG-Com i can just plug it in and read the fault codes if I have any probs! Plus I've seen quite a few DTA/Emarald ECU'd 1.8T's that Cold start crap, they cough and splutter, throw neat petrol out the exhaust because there's no cold start map, £hundreds spent on RR set-ups etc! I thought, Nah bollox VW Spent Millions on their management so it must be pretty well sorted!
  9. Not if you only want the block I spose it won't! Oh yeah, the BAM's will have a 6 speed box too, Junk that as the ratio's are all wrong, plus it's fecking huge!
  10. Why go aftermarket when VAG stuff works just as well and is already there! I've heard the BAM engines aren't the best for going down the IHI/GT28RS route????? You'll be looking at £2K for a complete BAM, My AUQ motor was £1K complete! With a remap I'll only be 40bhp shy of a BAM motor So I'd rather have saved the grand and Uprated my Brakes and Suspension! Can't deny whichever motor you go for it's an awesome conversion!

  12. Get one whacked in! Best thing I've ever done to mine :D
  13. I See! Cheers for that! Wheres the best place to buy a machine polisher from then and how much am I looking at, Bearing in mind I'm only really going to be doing 2 cars with it, so don't wanna spunk huge wads of cash on it! Also where can I get the Menzerna Intensive Polish PO85RD 3.02 from and is it pricey??? Cheers for the origin of swirl marks! I've only recently ditched the sponge, Have bought a Megs Lambswool mitt which seems to be doing a great job! I do give the car a good rinse with water before washing it and have started using Megs Gold Class shampoo and you can really see the difference from my old Halfords own car shampoo! Sorry for all the Q's Just fancy having a Bash at it thats all :) my neighbours already think I'm sad as it is LOL
  14. Been having a look at the swirl marks on the Cars you Detail! Had a look at my C and vRS in the sun today and they show quite similar marks! So how do i get rid of them (Use some stuff called 3.02???) and how are they caused and how can I prevent it happening???? Cheers Steve
  15. My Munkeh is the Original ITV Digital one too :D Here he is, sat next to Flat Eric in the back of my C LOL!!! Get some funny looks when it's parked up!!!
  16. Mine Goes like Fook, sounds Awesome and pulls like a train at the top end! Think you must've had a wrong 'un!
  17. Take it your thinking of 1.8T'ing your G60 instead of rebuilding it??????
  18. It would be an awesome conversion! The 130PD lump in my fabia is just as quick as the 1.8T in my C! The in Gear acceleration is brutal! It'll do 50-70 in 6th faster than a Porka Boxster! You'll need a MK2 GTD fuel tank and fuel lines though and depending on which motor you went for ( The early 110 tdi lumps or the later PD units) I think a ball park figure of £2K-£3.5 would get it done! unless of course you did it yourself! I have seen the 130-150PD motors (complete with 'box and loom) change hands for £1-1.5K though!
  19. Plus they make many torques from fairly low down the rev range (Mines making 205 torques@1950Rpm) and fairly easy to tune! A £400 remap will put mine round the 230-240bhp figure, I could spend that much on my old 16V and get 10-15bhp increase :(
  20. yeah it is, all the oxygen theives round my way drive them......it see them out!!! I could've said volvo's i spose :D
  21. Frickin' 42 Pages and the Mods on their are being Cocks! They could end the whole thing but wont! BTW Who is Corrado VR6 then?????
  22. Was Gonna Give the stage 1 to 3 stuff a go, But having talked to the Megs man at Inters, He suggested I clay bar the car and then just use the Gold Class as my car is a light colour! So did what he said and it came up stunning! Just washed it with the Gold Class Shampoo! All i can say is WOW!! Well worth it!
  23. no its not Autocar = the Times Auto Express = The Sun    Pipe and slippers brigade then  What are you old farts doing driving Corrado's......where's your Honda??? 8)
