    Just recieved these that I won on German Egay...... Cool As Fook! They is only tiny, think same scale as 00 trains , but they even have little wing mirrors and stuff :) Anyone else have anything like it.....just not seen them before! Steve

    yeah but the bracing from an early bonnet is totally different to a late one???? is that right?

    Hi All, Was reading Buyers guide earlier. My car is a '90 Valver, but has late spec bonnet as in _--_ with bulge for VR, but has early style bracing underneath????????? weird, i am sure the bonnet has not been replaced as there are no disturbed bolt marks around the hinges etc etc any ideas???

    must be on vr's with 288mm brakes then........cos the vr 280mm and g60 280mm have the same callipers (I think), just the drive flanges are different!

    the creaking could be your rear axle bushes??????? did you loosen the bolts when you lowered it? if you didn't then the rubber can shear and then they are fooked! or if you did then you haven't tightened the bolts up properly! the latter happened when i dropped my old mk2, took me ages to work out what it was!!! BTW think the ride height on mine looks cool :)

    I think 15" steelies would look kinda cool! There were some on ebay a week or so ago, but went for over £120!!!! Can you still get them at the stealers???? NG- Does about 50mpg..........Don't think a stainless will make a diesel sound any any better though :)

    Got this the other week, Just to stop racking up miles on the C, plus 2nd car for when mine goes to get it motor sorted and a respray! It's a Golf GTD! Fairly rare beasty, princely sum of £400 with 12 months T&T. Even if I keep it a year and flog it on I'll still get £400 for it! Could do with some alloys and lowrering...........noooooo the modifying bug has bit already :)

    the "ring" is scary.......... any idea what race you have to win to get the MK1 GTI??? I hate laguna seca....braking for the corkscrew gets me everytime!
