  1. Yeh olly that does make sense, ill have to investigate and make sure its blowing not sucking (oooerrr). ISV must be a 2 way valve yeh
  2. This is my point, i stuck my hand back there on idle and im pretty sure it was sucking???
  3. I must have problems then, why would it be sucking in?? It runs super good, any ideas??
  4. The flap on the bottom of the throttle body where it dumps air (which sounds bloody mental) should it not have a filter on it as its sucking at idle? I know its blowing at any time where its not on vacum but at idle it does suck and its quite a suck, unfiltered air is something i dont want in my lump?? Any theories anybody, dazzer???
  5. Taking the lock out is easy mate, its only 2 allen key bolts, 6mm if i mind right. I cand quite think off the top of my head which rod your talking about but ive had my lock and door handle off and it wasnt a lot of grief to put it back in, if this is no use then pics might be of some use Head to the scrappies and you can find them on passats, ive got a few from them as its always worth having spares. :D

    Heater problem

yeh apparently these valves are quite prone to failing, i think this has happened on my G60 as well
  13. Me and a mate pal'ed about a lot last summer and i never got a hair cut for ages cos i was always doin something(fixin the rad probably) then one day me and him and a couple of other guys were in his garage as i was fittin my coilovers and while i was neeling down to tighten th ewheel bolts my ass fell out of my breeks and apparently th eway we were sittin wi my ass out anmd my long hair and his goofy expression made us look like Harry and Lloyd from dumb and dumber job done my real name is Ross for future reference
  14. The valvers got 2, one in the tank and one infront of the axle, on the 2 G60's ive had a look at they only have the one in the tank

    inline fuel guage

Depends on where you want to measure pressure mate, if you want to measure how much pressur ethe pumps supplying then you want to put it in before the pressure reg, if you want to see how quickly its goin back to the tank the on the pipe leaving the fuel rail although im assuming this isnt under much pressure its just the fuel being pushed back so would be minimal, id go with before the pressure reg, see how well the pump is doing. On a side not where did you get it and how much did it cost? Its another thing ive always fancied. Oh and any pics mate??
  16. You dont want to do that mate, when the fuel level gets low it will pick up all the crap thats been sitting at the bottom of your tank and block your pump or your fuel filter, i rekon, as with many other things in the corrado, just live with it 8)
  17. Well ive got a pretty good position to be coming from, i had mt rad as a 16v for about a year and a half and i love dthe noise that came from it, drilling a couple of wee holes in th eairbox and putting in a K&N deffo made a difference. Recently ive ditched the valver and im now runnin G power in the same car and i can honestly say its ace, the G60 is a mental, demonic piece of kit and it makes all the right noises. Best thing i did with my valver was put a mk2 golf manifold on it. Overall corrado's are amazing cars, great to drive, better to look at and the rare factor is ace, stoping at traffic lights and having people scan your car is great, infact one time me and brian(dubster82) were driving up the high street in aberdeen here and two young loons just watched and stared as my car went past and then were even more shocked when brians one went past just behind, probably thinkin "those corrados, like busses man" so yeh im a happy boy, corrados are great
  18. All the way to the bottom for me like, the corrado is a weird and wonderful car eh??

  21. It may interest you all to know that VW actually have this threaded bung for sale its on ETKA right beside the sniffer pipe, i investigated as i was doing away with the cat on my swap and there it is. Part no.s Bung bolt - N 016 153 1 Sealing washer - N 013 812 8 Not expensive at all
  22. Ok if anyone is interested it appears to be a combination of a guff vacum hose from the FPR to the inlet manifold and a guff lambda sensor, replaced the vac hose and its well calmed down. Lambda is on order for tuesday so that shoudl see her rosy. Its snowing now tho
  23. Christ!!! nothing like mechanical sympathy  you dont have to do that on a 16v, all you have to do is take off the alternator, take off the bracket underneath and undo the 4 big bolts that hold it on and take off the hoses, it will just fall off and then you can slip the new one on, you would probably be good to get a new seal from zie germanz as well, while your there
  24. If it is the pump mate its not to bad, i got one for mine from GSF and it was only 19 notes, bit less beers one weekend and your golden
