Yeh if the thermostat is stuck closed then it wont allow water to go through the radiator and the thermo-switch for the fan is in the radiator so that would explain why the fan isnt coming on, best check the stat matey, not expensive and about 30 mins work on an 8v

Yeh man its behind the drivers side of the dash, near where the spoiler control unit and switch is. Take off the bottom tray and stick your head up there. You could take the plastic surround for your clocks out you should be able to see it then. Its the big box with the 2 white connectors goin into it 8)

30mm offset, thats not enough matey, ive got borbet A's 9x16's on my rad and there et 15 and this sets the just right although i have to mention even with this offset they are really close to the coilovers (i have the same kind as you) so i dont think et 30 is gonna fit at all. As far as clearing the calipers you should be fine my rims clear the G60 brakes and they're 280mm

Thats a car bra mate, some crazy american set-up that makes sure you get less stone chips on the front. I thinbk the side repeaters are there because yet again its american and they have to have mental side markers, law or something. Also i read the article in autocar last night and im pretty dissapointed, if the new rad looks like what they show in the article then its a cross between a passat and a phaeton, nothing sporty or coupe about it I rekon they should just put a "Corrado" badge on the nardo and that will be that 8) :lol:

Heres mine If i could fit the boost guage into the clocks then i could put an A/F guage into my pod, that would be pretty decent

Ha ha mine did this, i thought it was the main pulley on the water pump and after buyin one from VW (£50 8)) it turned out to be the water pump itself, 20 notes for a whole new one from GSF and ther are well easy to change on the valver. It could be the bearings in the alternator but i would go with the water pump

Would these fit the four cylinder cars as well or is there an alternative??

My mates one does this too, its in his 2.0 16V mk2. He says every morning when he starts it there is a minimal amount of PAS then its fine again, he says he just leaves it to warm up a bit and then he drives it, mint!!

Just got a new alternator loon, its mint 8)

I put mine over the top of the boost pipe. Then i cut the pipe so that my catch tank is just after the boost pipe, ill see if ive got any piccies..................................................................................................yep check here top right hand corner loon

Black thing wi the part number must be your ISV although it doesnt look like the one on my G60 or my 1.8 16V but its in the right place. The blue conector bit is your "5th" injector, for cold starts If i mind right :)

dont suppose you could take a pic of this mate, where the bolts are and such like? i moved it this morning wee bit closer to the rad but infront sounds ideal

Right, my power steering fluid is leaking at a rate of knots and i think its coming from the rack, not sure tho. Worst case scenario and it is does that mean th erack is buggered? My remote oil cooler is and ace wee bit of kit but im seeing temps of around 110 degrees sitting in traffic, thing is ive got it mounted on the slam panel infront of the charger and behind the drivers side headlight so i figure its not really in the path of any airflow. Can anyone whos had this mod done tell me where they have placed theirs, pics would be decent Cheers in advance Ross
