-
It’s nice you both appreciate a vsr many don’t and not even know what it is and even notice it in bay at a show .
-
Pretty sure i have seen a cd holder before maybe im getting confused with MK2. These are no good as LHD but asking 60 euro in Germany for tape holder. https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/vw-corrado-fischer-c-box/2004648172-223-19333

Arrived home today . Has been some tinkering can see fresh glue on the end - I saw the fresh glaze of glue so pulled one off - will keep these as spare still some good parts on them - didn’t realise these ends could be pulled away - I knew the other bits come away the other side of the seal . new and old comparison look same length for locating tabs .
-
Ask Vince who he sends his off to be refurbished- my replacement was a Bosch and upgraded to 120 amp form memory it was a 90 before so bonus ha.
-
Pretty sure you re right mate- might well be fischer never made a late set - or maybe late set are just cd not tape.
-
Thanks for the kind words mate- at least they will have some good bits left on them i hope ha. Will post some pics. Cheers.
-
Seen them for anything to to 50 - 100 , does make you wonder did fischer do an early and late version - pretty sure the cubby hole changed shape a little form early to late dash. 100 percent did an early anyway.
-
Well worth it these Spoonfed extended- house a rare obsolete wimpy half pounder spot on . Brilliant blast 💥 down some countries in the midlands today - feels like summer has arrived . 😎
-
It’s an isv dampener They don’t use guys the black box that are known to Grenade . The isv plugs straight into I grommet into the manifold The grommet can be found on a mk3 abf .
-
Look damn good them 👍
-
That dont surprise me at all - i have never known a car with so many changes in such a short production run.

Always a sad day as your not just saying good bye to a car you are seeing all your hard work been given to another - of course at a cost to the new owner. There are still plenty out there if you want to come back at a later date and will be an expert buyer. The biggest travesty with this car is been restored was a much better car then one of these flakey low miler storms fetching 20 k plus at auction - Im glad to see you got it away and must admit makes me a little envious as life is short and I would love to try other cars but one needs to sell to do that and its a very daunting task selling a high mile restored corrado - as mine are too. Best of luck on fresh pastures !

Here you can see for yourself everything early on his car he said . First email 2 weeks after delivery . Plain as ice no returns if wrong part ordered- tried to fit or mod- or vandalised to get money back . If he had just checked his seals with the informative picture i placed with advert he would not of wrecked such a damn rare set of seals the ........ ! Surely the first email would just mention the damage aye not a little sentence at the bottom if was true and mainly concentrated on fitment . Dread to think who the corrado specialist is as well ha.

His ebay seems to be his wifes user name which is a lisa. Username . lpursglove Thanks for all the support everyone , I will post some pics when I get them back- hopefully none of the parts like the rear bits and the sliding clips are missing as that will be a comprehensive piss take on every level lol.
-
AS expected Ebay sided with the Buyer as just see them as damaged. Not sure if the buyer is on here but his name is Chris Pursglove . Avoid like the bionic plague at all costs man showed his true colours. They are been returned in the post as we speak. Here is his late body car .
-
Measured early doors earlier they are the same.
-
An essential spare for sure. One good thing about a VSR is you dont need the isv damper which is also a very hard obsolete part to now obtain- whilst on the theme throttle body dash pot is also very hard to source, so all these parts one should keep for spares if a long term owner.
-
If you also look at etka it starts from L- chassis the body rhd what about k chassis my red 16v breaker was chassis K - things are getting lost/ deleted on that etka .
-
Guys I’m in my yard tomorrow so will have a measure - the doors are off a red G Reg 16v I have fitted a late interior car door to a late body g60 J reg - the only thing needed to be changed was the Loom- electric window etc .
-
I think the early seals are shorter it could be the welded locating tab is in a different place - im not sure.
-
Early seals do not fit late cars but late seals seem to fit all - be good to see if anyone else has got these early seals please post if you have- Ive only seen G reg cars so far.
-
There was change in body - https://www.ilcats.ru/vw/?function=getParts&market=RDW&model=COR&modelcode=76&year=1994&group=8&subgroup=800&part=134000&pid=3181&language=en

I have some early G reg doors in my yard mate if you want me to measure . All I was aware of was there was different fittings inside of the door central locking etc.
-
Im not sure chap I think everybody says early and late but other parts were fazed out before a facelift- a good example of this is F/ g reg cars that have many Mk2 191 numbers. I think these roof seals are very early cars - that's why I put a picture to show the difference so they buyer could compare and if they had the same type they knew they was good.
