One like this may be better- as does not look like it blocks anything like coolant cap and the abs brackets on turret. Im ot sure it fits though sorry. http://www.carbing.co.jp/international/products/strut/detail/6117200.shtml

This looks ok - should fit - i think you have to make some small brackets for them to fit for any strut brace on a corrado because they have a few parts on the turrets that are in the way . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384477569364?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338343596&toolid=10001&customid=eb%3Ag%3Avms%3Aeb%3Ap%3A384477569364%3BCj0KCQjw6J-SBhCrARIsAH0yMZje8SmkhEnc0kaQy1yyt3Vqd6Z7-4pO2LevJyLIXiMX8q-KRdD05EkaAmk0EALw_wcB&gclid=Cj0KCQjw6J-SBhCrARIsAH0yMZje8SmkhEnc0kaQy1yyt3Vqd6Z7-4pO2LevJyLIXiMX8q-KRdD05EkaAmk0EALw_wcB

The front strut bar part number for Eibach is 8502920VA - its the same for a mk2 - Mk3 ones will not fit. When I say cut I mean you have to drill holes into the turrets and or boot floor pan for rear strut - well you do for a Mk2 - dragon Green might be able to add to this.

I really look forward to his episodes - does a good 1hr and it seems like 5 minutes his that good- felt bad for him when he crashed that early 3 series but glad to see it didnt dent his confidence. That early M car I think he saw in Spain with crash damage the first ever production one minus the M1 is it - that era of BMW is just stunning . Ive been looking at the E36 M3 couple of years back and they have seemed to of doubled - the ones with the Vader recaro is it- love that era of Germanic design.

The eibach front flat sway bar looked the business but hard to get one - the D & W never quite fitted right there is one on ebay I was tempted - the rear if its like a MK2 you had to make some cuts in the rear turret to house them- not sure the rado is the same or they made some that you dont have to cut- some eibach or H a r anti roll bars are enough for most. I have the eibach arbs on my vr and it does toughen up the ride somewhat. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154700725328?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338268676&toolid=10044&customid=Cj0KCQjw6J-SBhCrARIsAH0yMZhaartLz3taJ6CMXDuw4OV3TAfZSJ74jroL1j22VxWSvc0TCZBZC0caAuCYEALw_wcB

Call me boring but I liked the Top Gear programmes from the 80s and 90s with car facts - at least the guy who was really unwell got has car to point where he can save it - he has been putting correct all the bits they have done- the dye is all ready coming off the storm seats and many other things - but of course his happy as they spent 30 k on the car apparently but the car is bodged apparently - the car was wrecked pre renovation with mods and bodge electrics- well yes could of purchased x2 mint corrado off the bat with that but I suppose its about making entertainment . Pointless comment by Tim dissing the VR6 engine to. I would of liked to of seen an original car turned back to its original glory as that is the venture most are on and could relate with. My favourite car channel is this German guy- its BMW but he is spot on- totally recommend https://www.youtube.com/c/M539Restorations/videos He goes over to Spain a lot buying cars there are some good bargains over there.

This will work - but its actually advertised as 4 bar at euro but i did some research and saw it was 3 bar on other adverts- spoke to Bosch and confirmed yes is 3 bar.

Im not sure but I think the vdo pump has gone obsolete now unless they have just done a re run , but there is a JP one knocking about - not great but better then a lick in the teeth- it comes with the swirl pot. So buy this if the vdo is unobtainable https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/1h0919651q-fuel-pump-with-housing-for-g60-and-vr6.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw_4-SBhCgARIsAAlegrX6C-xUPXiMNcrfM44l2efF06KLTuOT1zpqW4iaDqrYF7onMXmL16caAn4MEALw_wcB also buy this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165288791077?epid=249158734&hash=item267bfacc25:g:dmAAAOSwNSxVW4D6 You will have a compatible set up.

They came on 4 cylinder and also early vr boxes - they are worth quite a bit of money as well as people use them for engine conversions. not sure what they are for but they have two threads on the top as well for housing something. My g60 has one and my vr does not from factory.

If you get unstuck for a lense I have some spare parts no problem just show me a pic of the failed part. Im not going to lie there is not a week that passes that i think maybe I could sell all 3 and get a really sport weekend car and a modern daily - especially with the end of the combustion engine coimng to the UK there might be a real couple of special edition good bye models to be snatched up. Mk2 parts you can still buy the rhd Hella headlights pair for about £80, its much easier to run- I would say if you had 1 k to splash you could buy 10 pairs of them and make at least a 2.5 k profit in a few years if held onto them. - a set of new fogs now sell for £400 as obsolete - so off that basis a 3 k profit- the hardest parts to find for them are the rubber roof gutter seals.

Its interesting one should think what are the 650 cars now that could be- im thinking cars like the Audi s3 mk1 and so on will be the sure winners but its all about the storage.
-
Thankfully it came from factory with electric windows and power steering which is the only options I wanted - the only thing I have toyed with is some recaro but the rainbow has to be one of the most classic loved stock interior so really cant justify forking out the money for some - its a disgusting habit keeping them parts in a bedroom but once they are fitted my house house will be de cluttered - everything stored in loft and shed . At one point I had three rooms full of new parts but now down to one- its the interiors doing refurb I will not risk leaving them in the garage as too many mice.

Its only the middle one is that the bulb or one of the reflector's yo think ? I have just noticed my middle does not show the blue and red perimeter ?

Yes mate its annoying the last owner just took it to a generic garage - I dread to think what matrix they put in - bound to be a Topran yeaks ha ! Just taking off the centre console doing the dials gave me flashback depression doing the g60 refurb. My Mk2 will be the next box to be refurbed and will be getting a host of nos parts and garaged used only summer - a good 16v now 3 dr can achieve close to 20 K sterling if original as they have mostly been destroyed over modded cut up - engine transplants . Here are a few of the obsolete goodies going on the Mk2 I have been collecting the last few years, cant wait to get that stock exhaust on will be just like been back in the 90s again. Mainly consits of G60 upgarde calipers. Votex Console Oe Leinstz exhaust system inc downpipe (gathered parts worlwide) Pro alloy swirl pot _bosch accessories New Hella lights and grill New nos decals Lemforder suspension components I never wanted to fit in till I have a garage.

-
It is chap well spotted its a 191 part number golf mk2 came off an early corrado i broke and still nice and silver underneath- but its going on my Mk2 Im afraid tomorrow as old one is 32 years to old .
-
Wow that is an absolute cracker mate late body to like mine and also a Midlands car- cant beat a red G60 with black leather my mate would krave for that car ha. Also a blessed car by Jah.
-
Could you not fit some early heater controls- so much bloody better and cheap if the mk4 dont work. I, going to pop outside in a bit and see how bright they are from factory the dials will post a pic ha.
-
These are the ones I purchased but they are for 288mm callipers late Mk3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202562895141 Also bagged this the other for daily duties which might be an interest to you. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271375167698

Im going to do this tomorrow on a couple of the cars . Its the OE supplier can still buy on ebay. Hirschmann. Same seller sells the seals if you look at other items. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171216178792

Yes have some Hel stainless on the front brakes mate . The f ing things cost 260 I think and getting the new clips on so easily could of write the buggers off by braking the chocolate tabs - just glad im learning walking away and re think - old clips were either streched all ready or the new clips are out of tolerance. So Im really warning people use the old clips if you dont want to write off the new heating unit. My other advice is they are that shit a design just leave the direction to window demister and never touch the basterd thing - you know a bit like the fogs never go near that £££££ button ha- or the sunroof. Another hint I knew it was there as broke a coulpe of cars the screw up in the left vent to remove the centre console jelly trim - what a place ha.
-
Fitted these new Heating controls today - you can still buy them new from classics rhd - i must say they are gash compared to the reliable simple old heater controls in the g60 and the mk2 - its a plastic cog hell fest. From what I have learnt I purchased some new silver clips but they would not fit for love or for money so just used the old ones which were still good- proper head sweat job as didn't want to brake the plastic lug the clip houses the cable to - really do not use the new clips you will damage the lug trying to get them on if you carry on- I stopped re thinked went into my loft and got some old ones that worked perfectly. Its still a bit stiff direction dial - only when in speed 3 and 4 bizarre - in the long run the box would need to come out and lube the cogs and felt the flaps so smooth - annoyingly the last owner paid a garage £800 to do the matrix but the buggers only did the matrix and not refurb the box- waste of labour !!!

TBH mate things really apply to a winter driven car- I can imagine you will be only using it in fair weather with no salt so things will be preserved - some patients there hand restoration well done mate.
-
Wow that looks stunning mate congrats - I wish I had done my vwms casing aqua blasting is it- next door to my yard a little one man band has opened up so I can just take them to work now if needed. In regards to the oe bolts amazingly the bolts are easily obtained and pretty cheap from vag - I got all new bolts for my vwms box. Personally I only use stainless steel bolts into plastic housings as it can make alloy go white salty.
