Update . The Shrick is been removed at Stealth and will be available for purchase from the 19.10.2019
-
Has your car been outside in the rain the last couple of days . maybe the damp has got on a contact or something.
-
Probably better off looking at a MK3 golf for that sort of prices as they are still relatively cheap compared to other classics of that era.

Welcome, My exact thought to Dox. Last thing I would be thinking about is mods and trying to find a well sorted car. At £1500 imagine the Breakers will be snatching them up.
-
I'm not sure if this part will resolve your issue, however the fan controller is now obsolete. Part number 357 919 506 for late VR6 I have used one £20.00 includes postage. Cheers.

Shrick VGI potential for sale . comes with all auxiliary parts and fully functional. I have a polished stock 2.9 VR6 manifold and gaskets, bolts and all the engine trims to go back on the car to replace Looking for £1300 , just considering at the moment but those that have a vested interest feel free to drop me a PM. The last complete Shrick set for sale I have seen was in Ireland for the same price three years ago and sold. Thank You

Hold on to them mate in till you have done your paintwork right decision as many say they bent them taking them off hence such a rare part.
-
How much were the pair originally . The other sod is the inner scrapers as the top trims snap that sit on top of the door card and also obsolete. Rear window seals and rear tailgate window screen obsolete holly ballomey, step up your game Heritage and practise your company name !!!!!

Thanks Easy Pops much appreciated , the car has actually been moved forward to Monday for the body shop, you know I'm going to struggle to let go when she comes out gleaming and I Am Horrendously sporadic. I was in the garage earlier filling up and literally had a mature guy believe it or not chasing me saying badass vr6, and slapping his finger on to his knuckle lol ! ISV Muffler , Heater resistor, and rad switch, gone to Senior easy pops , can't believe these did not sell within an hour of getting posted. Thanks EP.

Used VDO fuel pump and sender for a VR6 added .4 bar Lupo GT wiper arms added

Im not sure which radiator brand it is as the mechanic charged labour only on invoice and the seller didn't have the receipt for it. Shaun member on here has seen it and he might be able to tell you if mine is the same as his. Can't post pictures on here chap its a buggeror would of. I can say I went for a good drive in the Rado today and she was steady at good speeds at 88 degrees with the alloy radiator and of course you gain weight savings to the heavy nose of a VR6. Well worth checking if your grill has the three opening slits as well because mine dropped by 5 degrees running with that grill at least and that is been modest.

I have actually got one of these Alu radiators, however the last owner had it fitted a few months before I purchased the car so cant give links or advice on bracket fabrication, yes another thing that has been done to the Rado I'm selling ! It cools the car great to be honest and fits in there fine. The only thing that you have to mod is the brackets to house the radiator, they don't match the stock housing bracket points. I would post some pics on here to show you how it sits from looking above it in the Engine bay. The radiator trim piece fits on top of and it fits great under the slam panel. I have got the receipt of the mechanic who fitted it and he was Epsom way.

The job of the blue solenoid is . when the charcoal canister if full of petrol fumes that runs from a hose from your petrol filler it opens the solenoid so it can be entered into the Inlet manifold to be burnt off. A Solenoid that is not working(stuck) can lead a to a Charcoal canister exploding in your engine bay or smelly fuelly engine. Hope this helps. Also if Solenoid stuck open can lead to rough engine running , a part know one ever thinks about. Just follow the hose to the left the one that houses to the little pipe fitting on your PCV Valve there your find the Blue Solenoid attached behind the lower part of the Airbox. .
-
Hi Fen , Take your air box out and if you have one it will be behind the air box in the direction of the scuttle panel . The blue solenoid also attaches to a hose from the charcoal canister . I would imagine if you have a pcv valve you’ll have one .
