I had some 6 pot brembo on a heavy mustang once and they stopped the heavy car like no other - I remember the Sl500 R129 I had record breaking stopping on release but todays standards felt sloppy and spongy- brakes have come a hell of a long way.

Oh right dare I ask how much they cost - they ok with the original brake servo. Set up .

So guys before I send the 288 mm off for refurb . cupra brake upgrade 4 pot. . what do we now about this mod - size of brakes - fit stock alloys - modding required to fit - maybe to heavy for wheel sprung weight ? year of Cupra r they come off ? cheers

It must be painful for the seller- to spend all that money for someone else to get shortly after to enjoy all the hard work and thousands spent on the renovation.

G60 - with new paint - looks a very well sorted car- I mean an unmodified early G60 with 7 slat grill and BBS RZ is a very nice thing right . Would be all over this - high mileage yes but looks to be in better nick then a sub 100 k car. I would get some sebrings on there would look mint. So I got this from a mk3 breaker fir £59 - take it they are the correct ones - they look gross - you all reckon big redd can make them good again . Do big Redd put new sliders and pins for the the pad carrier.

Also a solid looking white VR came on today as well for 11k - looks an honest car but has basic interior and maybe a Little over priced by seller.

This could be a good one- says its fully been rebuilt up - obviously need to ask the seller the right questions to see if it is a good car - mentions 4k on an engine or if he means that whet he has spent on the car to rebuild it up then - he has just done a minor over haul. The fittings look different on the two brands of hoses I cant tell picture is bad on Good ridge ones on advert.

Im sorry this petition is floored because of the brief daft reason given . Last thing we need is unexperienced youngsters without modern safety aids and lacking experience writing off these cars - all to common. I mean they cant afford to run them either - they will just daily them in most cases. My mate just purchased back a MK3 to rescue it and the kid couldn't afford to run it and basically near as damn destroyed the car in 2 years with bodge jobs and 30k of salty roads. Its a shame more valid reasons were not put forward - just looks like an excuse for youngsters to try and get cheap classic car insurance. I would like the Goverment to do this as it will help young motoring enthusiasts afford classic cars.

Looking at the pictures the interior rear bench and seats are a different cloth pattern- that needs sorting before asking this money. I think the seller is trying to get back what he is into the car and maybe more- unfortunately the maths never work on a corrado restoration at present unless your a dealer and get a garage queen off an OAP who dont know what they are worth and rip them off- all to common and they even pretend to be enthusiast as well sometimes the blag artists- makes you puke thinking of them sniffing around the groups trying to build bridges pre sale.

The bonnet has lots of holes and moldings underneath so it blends in- I would just cut it mate only you will notice it as everyone will be looking at the schrick with green envy ha.
