  1. great early car ! I know of a Corrado that was a left hand drive g60 uk car and is white - it was one of the first here and is owned by a lady that family use to own gsf car parts that was called euro something at the time . The car was wrapped from new and placed in her garage that is on a multimillionaire estate in Sutton Coldfield - to this day the car is untouched with only 400 miles on the clock .
  2. Will do mate have spacers on the car and 30 mm drop so will sit handsomely I hope.
  3. Looking forward to getting these on the valver . x4 Michelin pilot sports for £270 went for 195 50 15 - great price for my favourite brand tyre . Only 1 weight on alloy for balancing - very straight for 30 year old alloys .
  4. You should have a chip for the health of the engine chap as it can lead to pinking without one I have been told.
  5. Its a shame when Vince fitted my schrick ecu chip he kept the D and G one I think it was from Oxfordshire way otherwise I would of sent it you for free as most likely set up for the schrick , he probably wanted to check it out but I know Vince's chip will be cutting edge and gave it me free so I aint complaining.
  6. Good improvement but you should be getting up to 205 bhp na with a variable- excuse my ignorance in case I have lost something in translation of engine bhp or to the wheel.

Im only saying ask dealer so they are responsible- although many part staff I come across seem to be not very fluent at navigating etka or cross refrencing - same at Ford i have been known to take over their computer as I have been told they cant get something in the past because they have been to lazy to investigate and Order it in from TPS when I know for a fact its available. It does not bother them you made the effort to drive down there- I now use VW Straford Upon Avon not my local dealer in Birmingham because of this because the parts staff are well trained with a can do attitude. Its also worth trying audi, seat , skoda if the part is obsolete at VW because they do have different warehouses and have had success with picking up the last parts left from the other sister companies. Seat are the best group I have dealt with - the parts guy wont take money off me for bolts. If you click the icon next to part number on etka it shows you all the cars that the part number came on within the whole vag range. Also worth noting some parts are shared with Porsche (mainly bolts and plugs) and they have always been priced cheaper then vag group from my experience.

Thread here. https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/does-your-mk4-g60-flywheel-and-vr6-clutch-engage-too-closely-to-to-the-floor.141405/page-3 Everywhere I look says the c number is compatible . Whether you have to change another part for it to be compatible Im not sure.

Im 90 percent sure but best ask your dealer .to be 100 percent - etka has a few superseded part numbers for fork for corrado but may not have updated the c number on etka. Says fits here in USA. Might look slightly different https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/02J141719C.htm?pn=02J-141-719-C-VAG&SVSVSI=VWA2&DID=15009

  12. VDO to sell the oe ones have a couple of new ones here as spares. 191955985A for heated https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173448243443?epid=249512620&hash=item28625228f3:g:K9gAAOSwv0tVW4Ea None heated 191955986A https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=191955985A&_sacat=0&_pgn=2 Get these both from the dealers Im guessing. Anyone know does the heating come on when deforst button switched on or is it auto heat when washer switch pressed,
  13. I’m not sure chap as when I had my rebuild and collected car I asked him to check the chip and he just gave me one and fitted fir free - was not to fussed about getting it on a rolling road as it was a fresh rebuild breaking in and the tune is designed for variable inlet . Guessing it’s 200-220 max .
  14. No cams mate just a true 2.9 bore and the vsr - 268 cams for a variable as you all ready have the low down - have heard they can run a bit lumpy with 268 though not sure to be honest. Yes I have chip in the ecu - Vince has a Stealth off the shelf one and I would get him to fit it as he was telling me he finds some chips put in the ecu from other tuners in quite a crude manner that cuts something up - he found a a way to put them in none surgically.
  15. I was racing my mate in his stock alpine VR rado - and he couldn't keep up nowhere near with the variable intake - his ottinger had 5k of engine work from new on sale of receipt form Scots of solane square so be interesting to give him bash in that one.
  16. Thats the set up - regret taking off my front vibra.but wanted to see what is was like with all new mounts.
  17. Congrats mate they do make a difference its not just about the numbers its how it deliveries it that makes it a great bit of kit- . you will find with new stock mounts if you give it the beans you will still get engine movement.
  18. Thanks for the offer chap but Im building a garage this year and just sold a 911 to raise capital and also kerbing spending on rare parts - I had this nos Nardi Fittipaldi tucked away and I fitted today on the Mk2 and happy . Don’t get me wrong when this garage is built I’m sure I will be beckoning your offer cheers . 👍

  20. Only if you get me that steering wheel mucker to UK- ha only joking here you go mate. Its a breakers car as mentioned and I dont think the side skirts are zender or they are a different version of the skirt im aware of. . https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/bodykit-orginal-zender-fuer-corrado/1454662112-223-21594
  21. Here is a rare votex one out of the 92 vag accessory brochure under corrado https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/porsche-944-924-964-993-atiwe-lenkrad-sportlenkrad-mit-nabe-votex/1781204717-223-3242 I was trying one month to get this rare gti version its the same as the audi 80 votex version but also did it for the GTI- no joy after 3 weeks emailing would only acceot bank transfer and when I tried bank asked for address and he would not give it.
  22. From my experience Germans dont like Paypal as they dont like taking risks and paypal is in the buyers favour - there only issue is that the UK ans USA market are willing to pay more for the rare parts- there are a few sellers that have trust in greater man . There is a zander g60 at a scrapers over there with BBS Lm - could only dream of a breakers like that over here.
  23. That mod conceals a hamster in a roll wheel the mechanically opens the sunroof
  24. ebay kleinanzeigen is not actually normal ebay it is the equivalent of gumtree on the basis that there are no seller costs - it does have more fraudsters on there - however there is nothing stopping you asking for the sellers email and paying by paypal for an item (not friends and family) - your biggest issue is getting them to accept paypal and shipping to the UK - from my experience this website has the rarest German car parts in the world. I got my VSR off there and also recaro seats - you find France , Spain, Netherlands - advertise on there to because Germany has many towns that are not to a far drive from these other countries. My VSR was from France but advertised on there. It is very good for reasonable priced classic vag brochures and steering wheels, alloys to.
  25. They cost a fair bit but on the bright side you see some very well factory spec cars out there many with recaro and centre gauges - I mean if you pay cheap you will get a bigger bill in the long run then buying a sorted one - that is the classic car world for you. Body work is the killer and cost - engine rebuilds costly to .
