  1. Yeah, the TT ones have the chunkyness to suit! See Kevhaywire's avatar for the best 16" wheel on a Corrado - Vento Cup Speedlines 8)
  2. I think you might have prepare to eat your words in the new year Kev, purple venetion blinds is a great idea, especially on Nice Gay Violet  You could control the slats from the spoiler switch - facking awesome!!! 8)
  3. 7PSI !!! - thats f'kin dangerous and I wouldn't use that tyre again as the steel band will be damaged!
  4. He's in a very hot and sandy place! Yep, thats the ECU power relay, worth getting a new one along with a fuel pump relay and ignition switch if those 3 havn't been done (just for future reliability...)
  5. Hi there - have you got a blue cap on the header tank?? As above, it sounds like a stat issue and you need to make sure water is moving into the radiator... Also check the water pumps are working...

Hehe - what and then living in Saudi and leaving the Corrado garaged in the UK? :) Could you point a link to your thread Mr Def?
  7. The best thing to do really is to buy new exchange G60 calipers from VW / GSF etc and give the old 16V ones back - they really won't notice the difference!

Welcome to the forum! It was a factory fit option in Europe and the US, dealer fit over here. A few people have done installs and also climatronic conversions but it is a huge amount of work that requires numerous parts unfortunately - that said i'm sure the people that have doe it will say it was well worth it!!
  9. Not really had time to read thru but it could be a few things... Old alloys leaking - also not helped lazy tyre fitters not inspecting properly and removing corrosion and using sealant etc.... If you suspect the valve then try a metal cap with an O ring seal (Halfords) - you will still loose some but very little - still needs correcting tho with a new valve (or core) Need to stick the wheel in a bath really if you can't see anything obvious - some tyre places have a large bucket for this purpose!
  10. They might have been at one point if you bought each lead seperatly but if you ask for the Quantum branded ones they are about the same price as the above from AVS for a set!
  11. Ok, the calipers are the same but the G60 ones are wider as are the discs and pads... So you could keep your existing calipers for now and use the 280mm discs, calipers and 16v pads which you may need to sand slightly so they fit on the new discs
  12. Woody - has the ignition switch been changed for a new black one yet? - if not change it!!
  13. Maybe just condensation - any leaks inside the car - does the screen get misted up?
  14. ...especially if it's not a black one!
  15. He'll mean the PCV valve but I don't think you can buy just that part from VW - need to go to Ford.
  16. They did but for some reason Blackberry was also called Bramble by VW
  17. ^ Yeah thats cheap bushes... Get the TT ones
  18. Deserves a donkey punch tbh...
  19. As it's an Auto it could just be the brakes binding slightly in the cold weather, could especially be the rears if still running the original caliper setup.
  20. The mk4 rear discs are seperate from the hubs and bearings so not an easy conversion to do... 312mm discs come as multi fitment anyways...
  21. Not again :( Is it good aids or bad aids?
  22. Missed a good opportunity there Toadie...
  23. I don't have an issue with Ford but have GM ever built anything good!?!
