  1. Nope - there are loads of different ones, you need to look his chassis up on ETKA really then ATP the part number... What does VAGCOM say?
  2. Don't have a part number but they know what you mean when you ask for them - they are about £3 each over here...
  3. A company over here called C&R sells thoese reinforced exhaust hangers but they are actually just oem Ford parts and cheaper from the delaer...
  4. You could take the thermostat out to test if all else fails... Have you got the matrix bypass vales fitted - they maybe stuck closed altho this would not make the bottom hose stay cold... May be an idea to take a couple more hoses off and flush thru and maybe check the rad is not blocked internally...
  5. Yes - the reason I said check the voltage is that there maybe a short somewhere thats is causing the headlight fuses to blow and maybe draining the battery too...
  6. Yep - make sure its a genuine VAG one tho...
  7. What year is is - ie is there an imobiliser? Maybe something got knocked out of place when it was hit... check the battery voltage, all conections to battery, alt and starter.... then check fuses and relays are seated ok... If the above checks out ok then look at the ignition switch and check your getting 12v when turned to the starter soleniod (fat red and black wire)
  8. Should do - what year is it? - check they are the alloy ones... You'll also need the MK2-MK4 Conversion hoses from Goodridge
  9. There are a couple of hangers at the back which you probably can't see - fairly sure one of the rubbers has gone... Get Woodbridge Tyre and Exhaust to have a look...
  10. Check the fluid level - to do this on most VAG boxes you have to take the speedo drive gear off but there may be a seperate dipstick for this...
  11. Yep, thats really good for the spec and being at Stealth, you know the figures are accurate...
  12. Sounds like a duff battery to me - take it back to the shop of Halfords so it can be tested...
  13. H8RRA, another thread just reminded me that the ABS relays are behind the glovebox, they are usually very tight but may be worth re-seating them and checking they didn't get wet as they are even nearer the matrix than the ECU...
  14. Yeah - they are either Fan relays or ABS...
  15. Hmmm - did it just come on after you skidded? I'd check the connections not for getting the BPPS... Also - the ABS ECU - any change it got wet from the Matrix? (I assume the old matrix was leaking?)
  16. And I think Stealth do the chains and the clutch for about £650...
  17. What car is this? The VW clutches are usually a mixture of LuK, SACHS and Valeo and are alot heavier duty than the pattern kits... The difference in price should only be about £20...
  18. Welcome to the forum... Check out the knowledge base and the buyers guide... You need to find out which master cylinder it is - ie brake or clutch... Charger - make sure it has been rebuilt recently or budget another £500 to get it done...
  19. NO - Late Corrado not Mk3, best to buy new as it's so cheap...
  20. I know that but does it affect price or performance and why don't the ones VAG recommend have the R?
