  1. Whats the idle like? I wonder if you have a vac leak...
  2. Coolio, so does anyone know what this thread is about or want to suggest a title before I move it?
  3. As in if you take the passenger shelf off and look underneath and up they are up there??? If so that makes sense because that is a ABS relay location.
  4. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=120 locking.
  5. Yep, all the late 16v's have the self diagnosis feature, traction control was also an option.
  6. Yep, as Dazzy says you need a diagnostic tool to find out what the problem is before changing anything!
  7. LOL, once you have the Corrado bug.... Nelson makes me laugh, his car is fantastic, sooo much power there but he drives my C TDi, nearly 100bhp down on his and spends the next 2 days begging me to sell it... Now his engine in a C, now your talking!
  8. I'd say check yer fuses then!
  9. BC, Halfords are currently selling Lucas coils at stupid prices, I picked up a G60 one for a fiver, may well be the same for yours...
  10. Doesn't sound right! - how much resistance is there?? I assume it's a G60, if so and you suspect the engine, get it to a specialist like G werks for a full setup asap! PS - you're using a stupid amount of fuel there, are you sure it's not leaking for the small pipe to the fuel rail and then burning off the inlet??
  11. If you want exactly the same ones then make a list and go to the dealers... For a close match go to a DIY store and get some self tappers...
  12. Was there anything on the road John, diesel spillage??? ..or strange road camber of surface?
  13. Yep, the 288 setup pads are alot begger then the 280's so cost over £50 rather than £30 for the standard ones...
  14. Yep, unmetered air will be coming in - If you suspect the gasket spray some WD40 down there and see if the idle picks up...
  15. On a mk2 Golf it would be the lower grill rail but unfortunatly, on a Corrado, that is part of the slam panel, new ones are several hundred pounds so would advise e second hand one or just see if a decent bodyshop can repair it (looks repairable from the pic)
  16. If you've got ABS best to take it somewhere who have a pressure bleeder..
  17. Bonrath top plates at the front, the drop the rears a notch for another 5 mm
