Always around the half way mark, ie 90 degrees... at idle for a long time it may rise slightly but if it goes up past 100 then chances are one stage or the rad fan thermoswitch is knackered (another cheap fix)

What engine is it?? - don't think you have to drop the subframe on any corrado to get the box off... Make sure you unplug the ECU whilst doing it! -

delcbr, Welcome to the forum... The G60 is a far more 'tuneable' engine than the 16v's, have a search on here for specs of other peoples car along with times etc.. Chip and pulley will cost about £150 but the charger needs to be in good condition before this, rebuilds start at £350...

Err.. the 2.0 8v is only about 112Bhp I think, slow but reliable Golf engine and the 8v's always seem to be in good condition generally, also a very good base for an engine conversion as it's the later spec chassis and components.

H8RRA, The red Beru's are still available from the dealers, I picked up a set for Dinkus yesterday...

Just one screw from the inside of the door (be careful as some are reverse threaded) You'll also need the door card off to uplug the c/l switch and plug a new one in....

Or just check resistance across the sender, very high or no reading then replace, best to do the blue one at the same time as they are bound to be the same age...

Yep, is it a ring type terminal? - if so, split it in 2 and terminate and connect both for a more secure connection.

It's only a level light so won't be temp related... Check the level and the wiring, the sensors go wrong if normal water has been used for top ups or the coolant is not strong enough, new tanks are about £18 from VAG (bit more if you have a VR)
