  1. All Corrado's have a front as standard, some go for just an added rear one, some both but you have to be careful not to stiffen the suspension up too much, the Eibachs I have on mine tightend the setup nicely but it is a bit twitchy round corners in the wet...
  2. For info - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1 Thats the correct Part number as well dude...
  3. I'd say there less silver G60's out there, I've seen several Yellow ones but only 2 or 3 silvers over the years...
  4. G** CMO spotted on the A12 this morning... I was travelling up to Lowestoft in a Fiat Estate (Hmmm, Nice wheels...)
  5. I'd use a body shop with a jig rather than a tyre fitter...
  6. Or, what about relocating the outsidfe air temp sender?
  7. Which is fair enough as at that age/mileage practically anything could go wrong!
  8. Why would you want to remove it?? - get it fixed!!
  9. It hadn't had the recall and the valves fitted then if it filled with steam! - maybe worth checking with VW to see if it's missed anything else, I seem to remember there was also one for fuel lines on early VR's, deffo worth checking or it will be catching fire next!
  10. If it's a VR then just go to Stealth, especially if it needs a clutch too as they do them mega quick so what you spend on travel up there you'll save on labour...
  11. The part numbers are in the parts club document in the suppliers section, IIRC all Corrado's use the mk3 fuel filter...
  12. Thats the one... why does it require 2 people to open your bonnet??
  13. Yep, ABS relays are over that side (along with the ECU)
  14. I actually always get ones made up at the dealer now but no logo's, just get the forum URL printed at the bottom  I find them better quality than the ones made at the local motor factors and prefer the bold font they use but with anything like this, the finish is to do with cleanliness and the time and care taken to do the job...
  15. Yep go for it - any help building up the KB is appreciated!
  16. I wouldn't think anyone would offer one for a car older than 10 years to be honest, your better of investing that money into renewing parts or at least saving it for future repairs rather than paying an insurer...
  17. Only use VAG clutches - about £100 depending on engine, 3/4 hours labour to fit...
  18. Yep, DON'T use grease, use only Talc or Belt dressing spray!
  19. dazzyvr6, Yeah it must be and the Corrado is wider IMO....
  20. Yep, GSF sell them, ask for a new O ring too... Engine cold, pull out green retaining clip, pull/twist old BTS out, use pliers if needed, new one in with new O ring, replace clip...
  21. Don't use GUNK!! - It stinks... I've used NV Engine clean, the Autoglym and Turtlewax degreasers and all worked very well in conjuction with a low powered pressure washer and a kettle of hot water...
  22. The control unit is unlikely to be the problem tho IMO - take out your stereo and see if it starts working, If so you need to disconnect and insulate the blue speed pulse wire...
  23. No clutch cable on Corrado's... Does the bite point feel lower down (towards the carpet?) - If so, I'd be looking for a hydraulic leak, slave cylinder on top of gearbox is usually the first to go...
  24. Good stuff, just goes to show you can can locate a duff sensor on an ABS system without VAG.COM
