    I know the 16v uses 2 pumps, a lifter pump in tank and a main one underneath to generate the extra...

    andy.b, you've deffo got a problem there as it wasn't doing it until 2 weeks ago, I'd check the cooling system for leaks, maybe change the expansion tank cap anyways... Is your fan definetly working / coming on?? - water temp should only rise to 100c after sitting in traffic for 10 mins. Could also be the sensor for the gauge?

    davedub, for compatability check the Parts club document in the servicing section.

    It's 8mm fuel hose but some of the G60 ones are moulded because of tight bends so really best to get them from the dealer...

    Think it does just pull off, there is also a screw underneath the belt... The worst things to get out are the coat hooks above...

    Well Stealths rollers always give acurate results on the RR days i've been to, yours sounds like its putting out good power especially as you have the timing retarded at present!

    There is a small pipe that runs un the right hand side of the fuel rail as you look at the engine bay.. U shaped, look at it very carefully, it may be leaking and the fuel dripping onto the exhaust manifold and burning off so you can't see it....

    What about measuring restistance across the plug on the fuel rail (injector loom) - The Bentley manual says what the readings should be and this may show up a faulty injector...

    No it's not plug and play - there is a list in the knowledge base but there is not enough information there to really help, I'm planning to do the conversion using the later loom....

    Mate did this on a Polo, the new ones from VW sit in a square hole and the corrado aerial hole is round IIRC...

    Whole G60 engie bays inc changer and Gbox go for £1500 all day long... Probably just means a ported charger unless it's a lysolm...

    All the 16V's have the 2 pumps to provide the higher fuel pressure needed.
