  1. superhans, Welcome to the forum... That sounds ok, the light should come on as a test then go off... Looks like the original circuit in the instrument cluster was dead and someone has wired there own up... better than nothing! Maybe same probs affecting the lights...
  2. The gear ratio's don't help as you can't get 60 out of 2nd. 0-100 is fairly competitive tho!
  3. I seem to remeber someone saying there was a woodruffe key on the alternator pulley....
  4. I wouldn't assume its the HG just yet, the matrix sounds like its gone and the bypass valves have done there job and stopped water flowing in, you may also have some other ramdom problem like the fan thermoswitch is only working at one stage causing it to overheat where as before the heat into the cabin was keeping the temps down... What model corrado is it??
  5. Right click > save target as... (you will need Adobe Reader to view)
  6. And remeber you will need a windback tool for the rear caliper pistons!
  7. Yeah just the whoosh sound, there is no filter on it, just an open pipe - filter is on the ISV clubcorrado.fr.st, where is your ISV? (Idle Valve) BeavisJem, yeah, same here - might leave it then... (just didn't want it to sound to Chav...)
  8. Yeah, I'd advise every one to have a good clean under there if they havn't - the bit coming off the black filler surround is just an overflow...
  9. Defo front top mounts and rear bump stops (get these from GSF, they sell rubber ones that don't fall apart like the originals but remember to trim the 30mm off them before fitting!) H&R's can be got from a place called motorsportwheels I think...
  10. BeavisJem, did you manage to get some pipe for this?? Think I need to do the same - it's a bit noisy! Also, I have just fitted the pipe supplied with the kit to the cam cover breather but the idle is still not great (was much worse when the pie wasn't fitted at all) - will a catch tank improve this? - I suppose I could test with a plastic bottle lol...
  11. G12+ is all the dealers sell now (over here anways), it's just an improved version of G12 as they found it caused some corrosion and can be mixed safely with G11 and G12.
  12. Yeah, the G60 badges are stuck on, the Corrado one locates like the golf ones do with 4 grommets. Black bit - do you mean the surround or the gasket on the base?? - The mirror glass will prise out with a screwdriver or shatterproof ruler then there are screws underneath to release the surround, If you need to take the whoe unit off its only 2 screws which you get to by twisting the mirror on its base, you have to take the door cards off tho to unplug the electrics...
  13. Does it feel down on power??? I would have thought you'd notice if the CPS was dead if it was ok a year ago as it knocks off 30bhp! Get it on VAG COM again!
  14. If you have gat the original G12 or G11 in there you should not mix one with the other sort!! - they will form a gel G12+ can be mixed with anything. Either change the lot or top up with water for now!
  15. Yep, just bought the 'Tuner' steering wheel for £63.99 and got a free £10 voucher!
  16. Thats a good reason to always go thru insurance for this kind of work as if there is anything else not spotted to start with then they will have to fix that also as they have agreed to fix the car... good luck getting it sorted mate, like Steve says, get it to a decent body repair centre with jig etc..
  17. Welcome to the forum - what engine is it, 16V?
  18. He is also Dubcharged on this forum
  19. Indeed you can, doesn't have to be a huge amount - every little helps!
  20. Nice one, thats quite alot of work there but it will make a huge difference to the feel of the car and you will really have some driving to look forward to in the summer!
  21. Pagid Fast Road - GSF do them...
  22. It may have just built up corrosion on the discs and pads, probably just needs to driven for a week or so to get the feel back into the pedal... Mine was in the bodyshop for over 2 weeks and now, a week later, the brakes are just starting to feel responsive again.
