Always go thru insurance, then the work is guaranteed and you won't be stuck if there is more damage than you first think He'll be claiming for the damage on his anyway by the sounds of it so they'll be expecting a call from you, so you can go straight thru his policy, If you specify a bodyshop of your own choice that don't provide a car then they will hire one for you..

What state is the charger in?? Did you check the boost it was making?

If you mean the OE Heat Exchanger then there about £30 If you mean a mocal cooler, thermostatic sandwich plate and pipes then there about £150...

Did you clean the guides and use copper grease on them and the backing of the pads??? Take them off again, check the rubber seals round the pistons and re-grease, If the pads are shiney then sand them down slightly and go thru the bedding in process again...

Its a bonded screen so need to set properly...

Nah, if it works on speeds 3 and 4 then the thermal fuse for the resistor pack and the pack itself should be ok, If that goes them it only works at full speed (no resistance) You need to look at the contacts on the speed control switch itself, probably just bent so not making the connection...

Corrado parts are 535 but the corrado uses loads of Golf and Passat parts like the crossmember which is mk2...

The above was in the gearbox oil change instructions in the latest Sprinter to enable the oil to get into the syncro's... 2 miles tho! :shock: - Is it really neccessary??

The late G60's and VR's of that age share the same pump (The pump is on its side) but some later cars (only VR's I think) have a different one which is upright...

The late ones do... If the light has just come on and goes off after a restart then you probably just need to wash the car and hose the wheels to clean any grit of the sensors...
