Graham_E, you may want to consider the Eibach set then (front and rear) as I drive on the same sort of roads as Kev and and the same H&R/Koni setup but my (cheaper) ARB's seem a good compromise between the standard items and the stiffer Neuspeed's...

I think there only about £85 from VAG but C&R do them at that price with the conversion hoses and they don't want the old ones back as exchange anymore as everyone wants the alloy ones... I picked mine up from them at Inters for £55 inc. You need to be fairly carful setting them up, you actually need the winding tool even if you have all new kit to ensure the piston is as close to the pads as posible and still be able to move the wheel freely, this will provide a better handbrake and a much better/sharper pedal feel.

If its like mine then there is a 13mm bolt underneath the front of the car that tensions the belt between the pump and the bracket, check the belt for condition, replace if cracked and spray some silicon belt dressing if its still screeching

lol We all know the VR6 is a great peice of engineering but all I am really saying is that Autoexpress are not really showing a great knowledge of the automotive industry by calling such a popular engine a V6 when It isn't.
