I used to use Gunk but it stinks! - now I've discovered this 2 part turtlewax stuff from halfords (was BOGOF Rodders!) which is bassically a degreaser then a wax coating... I only used the first part on mine, and it came up superbly! Got the engine up the 50degrees Sprayed it all over everthing except the alarm and battery Waited 15 mins for it to penetrate Pressure washed it off (£50 Pressure washer job so not powerful enough to damage anything) Waited 5 mins, started engine, started fine and idles ok no belt squeel even! Ran up to 80 degrees on drive then took for a thrash to get rid of any water Looks superb now and I didn't even touch it! - No residue on black plastic like Gunk leaves..

I heard one of these (several times) at e38... The guy just kept starting it every half hour and reving the fcuk out of it from cold :| IMO they are way to loud (I mean proper loud) for any sort of road use :?
-
Mine does the same but only a 4 degree difference so i'm not to bothered, weird tho, must be an electrical fault...
-
Yeah, I priced up one for my G60 also and it was under £50 - must be that VR6 tax again...
-
Oh... I see, its basically waxoil...
-
Yeah, at least 2 types... depends on the engine and the radiator size, grill etc... If you need one tho any can be made to fit fairly easily and there rare / expensive to get hold of!

I think (??) the after run is on the relays under the bonnet near the expansion tank but its a good point and worth checking??

If it is a wheel sensor then German, Swedish, French and Mongolian usually have them in stock... Buy one of there £35 fridges while you there mate - SteveMac has discovered that they fit perfectly where the rear armrest goes - superb! double post deleted-vr6storm

Its just a cap mate, its not really a prob if you just have the topmount showing underneath but obviously it keeps it clean
-
That crease looks very strange but I think its just the camera angle... Its an insurance job so all the work is gaurantee'd for a few years so even if you take it and aren't happy, just ring them up and get it booked back in or ask to go somewhere else... That Sill looks a bit of a mess also :?

Maybe it was the fuse for the fuel pump/rad fan after run?
-
Drill about 10 small holes into the lights and slam panel (not as bad as it sounds) then use self tappers...

Performance Solutions do both, have a look in the likes of Performance VW for adverts for other similar companies also
