  1. I need a new front one asap - what have you got mike, Vibra-Technics??
  2. Like my Junkie says, I forgot the bonnet clamps it so you may not need as many holes (I was thinking Mk2's) Also good point about not slamming it too!
  3. Yes thanks, I did think that but the dealer only had one bolt in stock, I think mine are ok... I think i'll get some sealent as according to the bentley they only need to be 10Nm!
  4. I think you need about 10 holes in total if there aren't any on the spoiler at the moment - I would look at my car but its 50 miles away at the moment...
  5. Just bought new Temp sender housing and the other plastic flange (love that word) on the side of the block, new O rings, clips and black and blue senders... For info - the housing has been superceded by one with an extra hole at the bottom for which they also supply a blanking plate. Apart from cleaning, do I need to do anything else when I replace them - ie do I need any type of gasket sealent and if so do I need the blue or red flavour??
  6. I'm currently liking the look of the pillar mounts...
  7. Just for info, if you buy a new handle from the dealers the parts guys will swap the locks over for you if you take the old one in...
  8. There are different Trackrods for the VR6 (plus suspension) as it came with 205's as standard, all other corrado's came with 195's and use the same trackrods as mk2's - VW should know this! They are about £60 from VW but GSF sell Febi ones for about £17 each inc the ends, but make sure the ones you get have a 6 sided hex at the end which goes onto the steering rack as this will make it easier to fit with the engine and the rack in the car...
  9. For my Kamei one I had to drill pilot holes is the slam panel and headlight surround to match the ones on the spoiler and the use the self tappers which were supplied... If yours didn't come with any fixings then I'd call Kamei and buy a fixing kit, make sure you use enough screws as I've heard thecheap ones like to fly off when you reach 100mph!
  10. ) I got some for Kev a little while ago, £25 each plus vat, £5 of which is the VR6 tax as the G60 ones (same size but one less hole) are only £20 :?
  11. Its the only way he can make it go fast....
  12. Tom, I'd have to say I think it should be 'stickied' so the max amount of people are aware of it... as its only for a limited time can't you just unstick it when the GB is finished?
  13. The coilpack is also numbered, you have to look fairly closely...
  14. Oil spillage?? - probably just needs to be burned off
  15. If the cars running rich its probably a faulty MAF...
  16. It depends how bent it is, best to take it to a good tyre place for there opinion, there is a big risk of the alloy cracking when trying to straighten it, if its a standard BBS (not split rim) then eBay is your best bet...
  17. I would go back to VAGCOM again now the codes have been cleared and you have driven it for a bit...
  18. less than that... the later switches are better becuase there are seperate ones for front and back but then again the fronts also crack because of the intense heat
  19. I love the way that there about 10 different shades of white on that car plus the rust on the front wing...
  20. They come on with the foglight button!
